Ah okay. He lives outside a suburb or city I presume? We got a total of 2 feet of snow! I was at Walmart tonight and their parking lot wasn't plowed so I went to park and got stuck! I had to get some guys to help me out! Lol I was soooo embarassed!

Yeah, he lives on the outskirts in a development. I still didn't make it in to work though! Got into the city and couldn't get to my house! Gotta love people blocking streets to dig out their cars.

Anyway, I thought this was a neat pic of this weekend's storm!

Shayna - Everything looks so beautiful. I love to look at the snow before the plows and cars and all the nastiness turn it black.

We're gearing up for a storm here, I think. The weathermen can't make up their minds. Tonight freezing rain for sure with 2-5 inches by tomorrow, then Tuesday night into Wednesday we go into winter storm warning mode with up to 12 inches. The amount isn't so bad, but they are predicting 50 mph winds, so you can imagine what that will do. Tomorrow morning will be hurry up, get to the farm, take care of the animals, pick up feed, get back home!

Oh yeah, then cookies!!!!!!

That is so beautiful and awesome! I miss the snows where we'd get a couple feet. It makes everything so clean and pretty (and a warm house that much more inviting!).

Wow, that picture is breath-taking! I can see Maryland and the Chesapeake bay. The pic kinda reminds me of that movie The Day After Tomorrow.

So we were in Terre Haute, Indiana for Christmas. It snowed.

This is me, after I noticed a camera pointed at me I found my way behind a tree. I love auto focus. It knows I hate pictures so it focused on the twig instead. Isn't it a nice twig?

I'm about to get a snow ball to the arm.

This is not a house fire, but a sunrise.

Obviously there is NO snow here! I'm still wearing shorts and waking up hot. Can someone please send a bit of winter down here?

Ask and I shall receive! Heard on the news we MIGHT have a chance at some snow.. IN FLORIDA! Its going down to 30* Saturday night and we are expecting "rain" on the same day. So if its timed right we will get snow!.. Not sure if 10+ days of cold makes the ground cold enough to keep it there.. But it sure would be great to see some snow in Southwest Florida!

We only have a 15% chance of snow Sat. morning (our low is 23 degrees), and we are at the northern most tip of FL. They said the chance goes higher just a bit north of us in Valdosta, GA. I think I'm going to make a 30 min. trip early Sat. morning. :D

We're digging out from under blizzard number 2 in a little over a week's time. <sigh> The poor neighbors no sooner got their front doors dug open than it hit again! It wasn't quite as bad this time. Last time it was 2 feet of snow with 50 mph winds, this time it was 8 inches with 40 mph winds, but the drifts are still just as crappy.

Hey, you shoulda gave me a call! I go up to Terre Haute all the time..its only 45 minutes away from me!! ;)

As we speak I have about 50 layers on and I am about to go shovel my way out of my driveway so I can actually drive...I think we got 7 inches or something like that.

Come May, you will stop this nonsense, right? :neener:

I didn't know where we were until I got there (jeremy didn't tell me..) and then I found out we didn't have internet and we were sleeping in a camper with a tiny space heater...

14* with a wind chill of 5 is not fun.

But if we go next year, I'll definitely let you know so we can visit the chinnies!

>_> Jeremy's friend Colby and his gf Lindsey are going to Colorado with her family for Mardi Gras. Jeremy invited us along.

We're going to "try out snowboarding."

When I die from breaking my neck who can I leave Dr. Death and Morgan Freeman to in my will?

We had a 30% chance of precipitation here. MY Weather Bug on my BB shows the forecast tomorrow rain all day. So maybe the temp drop and rain will match up and we will finally get some!

It's a lovely 34F here getting up to 44F this week. Oh so beautiful especially after the freeze we've been in and being the second coldest city in the world!! (I think windchills were what, -70F?!)

How are you guys the same as here in Florida!? It is currently 31* going down to 28* tonight and down to 25* tomorrow.

ETA: BTW! negative anything shouldnt even count. I dont believe in negative temperature. Who even came up with that! Thats like saying there is negative time!

What happened to global warming!? I don't want to get into a huge long debate about this. I know the icecaps are melting etc. I'm just being a smart butt, and I'm just throwin that comment out there! What happened to global warming! -70 with the windchill doesn't sound like global warming to me! We have snow. About 3 feet of it, more in places depending on how it drifted. I would be happy if we didn't get anymore for the next 6 months, but that's unlikely. We're in a heat wave right now. It's 5 degrees outside, and it's supposed to be up to 15 today I think. As opposed to -25 with windchills......
Melissa...negatives do too count! Theres definitely a difference in cold between 0 degrees and -30 degrees! At 0, you're cold by the time you walk to your car, and maybe your wet hair is frozen, but at -30 by the time you walk to you car, your hair is froze, your hands are froze, and your boogers are froze to the inside of your nose! BUR!
