For Christmas we're going to Indiana to visit Jeremy's family.
Think I can get a "white" Christmas?

You will most likely get a white Christmas in Indiana... Where in Indiana though? It doesn't snow that often down in the southern part. But where I am, we ALWAYS get snow... ARGH! Lake Michigan!!!!

We got DUMPED on... and I mean over a FOOT of snow. It was so bad, all over the papers.

Now I may be getting a new vehicle because of it - my car is much too low to the ground, always getting stuck

Yeah, I'm way down in southern IN and we only get a few snows a year, usually never around Christmas though. I've only had 2 or 3 white Chistmases that I remember.

My new car seemed to do just fine in it, though. My old car didn't have anti-lock brakes or traction control, but my Cobalt does. So it makes a LOAD of difference! Last year in the epic blizzard/ice storm we got, I was driving down a huge hill and my brakes locked up. Scariest thing ever.

Here's a few pictures I posted on Facebook... This was before it even finished snowing... it snowed all day and all night long after those photos were taken!

This is my brothers old car.

And my car. You can see at the top of the car the depth of the snow, haha.

hi, i live on an island...in texas....

whats snow!?!? lol

but for reals, we were close to getting snow last week...but it didnt make it past houston. and my hometown, a DESERT, got snow for like 2 days straight!

We got snow here in Wisconsin, it actually snowed the other day too.

I love snow, driving in it, not so much but as the winter goes on you get used to it. So, Stacie, if you moved further north where there's snow more often, you'd get used to driving in it ;)

You got snow Friday night did you Alli?

I got snow Friday night, and a bit Saturday morning. Mostly melted away by Sunday morning. Though in my front yard theres just one patch of snow left where my nieces made a snow man. We got about 3 or 4 inches.

We're supposed to get at least a foot of snow tomorrow evening :err:

Then it's going to get cold too.

I can't remember what day it was that it snowed... hmmm it was Friday or Saturday I think. But that melted. It snowed last night and that stuff has stuck.

I don't think I would even remember how to drive in snow. It's been at least 10 years since I've seen any. Down here a few flurries would be nice, though the city would shut down everything in fear. :p

We're supposed to have -20 windchill starting this afternoon and tomorrow Sasha. I feel your pain. Then they said for the next week we'll consider it good if we even hit zero.

<sigh>

You crazy Canadians should expect this stuff, being so far north. We're not supposed to get it! Come........take it BACK!

 I remember about 10 years ago I was down in SC visiting family (My uncle was stationed on Ft. Bragg) and it snowed. They only got a dusting and they still showed on the news people pulled over on the side of the road with 4ways on and stuff.

We have a winter weather advisory until tonight around 10 PM... Yuck, but oh well... I have lived in Indiana my whole life. It's nothing new to drive in crappy conditions...

We have snow here in upstate NY. Not much though, probably about 2 inches on the ground. But were supposed to get about 4-6inches tomorrow and I'm sure it'll stick. it's pretty cold out and it's not supposed to warm up any. I don't care for the snow too much though. In a way I like it because it's so pretty, but I hate the cold!

I'm not sure which part of Indy we're going to, look the farthest North I've ever been in the STATES was Gatlinburg, TN in probably July and it was still cooler there then it usually gets in my home town gets in October/November. I went to Paris, France, about a year and a half ago in June. That was my winter weather -humidity.

Look, I'm in Natchitoches right now 4hours away from where I live. I'm still amazed by the hilly landscape lined with pine trees.
