Pococnos PA here. We get snow here, we have snow here, we will get lots more snow here!!!!

I wish we had snow here! I love it so much--and our big dog, Yewkey, loves it to! He loves to try and fetch snowballs, haha. I'm glad we're headed to Chicago for the holidays--they almost always have snow during Christmas!

We're going through a blizzard here! First one since 2001. Kinda nice after so many mild winters, though it did mess up quite a few plans today. :(

I live in Baltimore, MD too and we already have over a foot of snow on the ground! It's windy and the snow isn't suppose to stop until tomorrow.

I have 20 inches of snow outside my house right now it is still coming down like crazy!! I hate snow!! It's time to move to Hawaii!! :D

December 8-9 we got about 15 inches of snow! Some drifts we measured were 24 inches tall. It took all day to shovel the driveway so we could get out onto the street.

Okay - got a request for some of you that have snow. I have a friend in Mobile, Alabama who lost her daughter suddenly about a month ago. She sent a request for anyone with snow to make a snow angel and take a picture of it to send to her, as her daughter absolutely loved snow - but of course, being in Mobile, AL, you don't see snow. Can some of you that have snow (cuz I only have lots of rain here), please please make a snow angel, take a picture of it, and send it to me at [email protected]? I would absolutely be indebted to you...and very appreciative.

We got about 7 inches of snow yesterday. Hubby and I took pictures so we could just give pictures to folks for Christmas lol. Amanda, I'll work on getting you a snow angel :)

Got about 10" or so here so far and it's supposed to keep up til about 8AM tomorrow morning. It's nuts! I'm stuck at Keith's house, can't see the roads, and when I called in to work to say I probably won't be in tomorrow at 6:45 AM, I got yelled at and told I've got plenty of time to "find a way in" :banghead:

It's on it's way here and I don't know what to do! My boyfriend got a shovel today (thank goodness)! I might get called to work it, and I might not. I got a memo saying they're going to use the lowest pay grade and that they hired a lot of maintenance people, so to me that means they're not gonna call! But, since I'm the lowest pay grade for my job, maybe I'm still low :p I just won't know until about 10-11 tonight! So I'm working on resting up and napping :p

Wow. Getting told to find a way into work in the morning when by then you will probably have like 2 feet of snow is just impossible. I had to work today at 3pm but called out since the roads were terrible.

Yeah, I was able to switch with someone who lives in the city. If I was home, it wouldn't be so bad, but out here at Keith's house, they don't exactly plow much... Lol

I measured the snow and we got at least 18 inches. It's still coming down but supposed to stop soon (?)

Ah okay. He lives outside a suburb or city I presume? We got a total of 2 feet of snow! I was at Walmart tonight and their parking lot wasn't plowed so I went to park and got stuck! I had to get some guys to help me out! Lol I was soooo embarassed!

Morgan, don't be embarassed - during natural catastrophies like a blizzard, everyone helps everyone! At least you got out!
Remember being the 1st on the road during one here in Chicago [42 inches!] - went to the grocery and got bread, milk and baby formula for the neighborhood!
Main streets and x-ways were clear, but you couldn't get out of the sidestreets!

HA I only got a dusting also, usually we get hit pretty hard here, I was expecting to have to shovel for days just to get everything cleared. I may have just jinxed myself for the next storm.

Some pics from my neck of the woods. This was the biggest December snowfall in DC history (well, since record-keeping began in the 1870's, anyway). I'm not in the city, but my guess is that it was a record for the entire metro area. We got about 23 inches. It's hard to tell from the pics, because it was windy, and the snow was blowing around a lot (we were under a blizzard warning for most of the day on the 19th).
