Trios are hard to do, if you want to do it it is best to do it when they're young, otherwise it can be very difficult especially with males.

It's better to limit their playtime, usually once my chins go back to the cage I close it and I'll let them rest before they want to come out again.

My chins have also started to learn new sleeping positions and on numerous occasions I had to wake them up to see if they were ok and I just end up pissing them off lol

As long as they're used to their cage you can open it, put your hand in, and let them sniff or climb it. Just make sure your hand doesn't follow them and let them come to you on their own terms.
