Hey, I have been looking on this fourm for information about chins now for a couple months and thought it would be only appropiate to introduce myself. I'm John and live in NYC. I have had up to five cats at a time living at my home when growing up, so when I heard about chinchillas I decided it was time to have pets of my own. I have 3 male chinchillas:
Ezio, Extra Dark Ebony, 6 months
Altair, White Mosaic, 7 months
Desmond, Beige, 4 months
They all live together in the same cage and are all bonded. Desmond and Altair are both trusting enough to hold and carry (I even had Desmond make a little nest in my shirt once and went around the house with him on my chest) while Ezio will only trust me on rare occasions. I attatched pics of them.
I also wanted to say how great this fourm is. I've learned so much about how to raise chinchillas and this forum has been very useful.
