I too have a few not quite ready chinchillas. I may bring them any way.

I have 4 that are not really ready, but coming along anyway. I have two that are staying home until Boone. Two others *might* be more ready by next Saturday, but I am not holding my breath. They are coming regardless! One is ready unless she falls apart this week (and that had better NOT happen!!). One other totally up in the air until I stare at him some more tomorrow. I'm hoping for marginally ready & presentable on that one.

Brenda really IS ready, she is just trying to play it low key! ;) Its like a sneak attack!

I'm excited! Me and my sister will be coming down for the day. It's her first show so don't everyone scare her away. lol!

And if anyone else wants anything from me, please let me know sooner than later! I'm pretty backed up right now so I'll need to fit it in before the weekend, so the sooner I know the happier I'll be :D

Well - slightly more ready now. Went through a few again tonight. There's a couple looking pretty good at the moment - and a few that aren't.... ugh... Have to work late tomorrow. Hopefully Sunday night I'll finish up and make my final decisions... maybe.. lol

Maybe we should discuss moving this mess to December in the future. lol

I'm not a fan of driving in December LOL! I can't wait to meet Alli's sister though! I'm happy she's coming.

I can't wait for the show period!!!! Yay!!!

I've got a basket of goodies done, too. A couple candles, some snacks.. I think it turned out well. Plus, I'll bag up some supplement for the raffle, too.

Well, as of right now, it looks like I will be there! My husband has some health issues that might have me backing out at the last minute, but other wise it is a go.

Of course, none of my animals are ready to show, since I didn't think I was going.

Woooo Hoooo! Glad you are coming (tell your husband to be well, so you don't have to back out at the last minute!). 90% of my animals aren't ready to show either, and I KNEW I was going so don't worry about that! :dance3:

Yay, Becky!! Keeping my fingers crossed Richie is healthy! Is he driving, or are you?

Yeah - just pulled 4 from the show line last night as I was going through them again. No reason to show them whent hey look like that. lol Still bringing quite a few, though, so it really doesn't hurt my feelings that some have to stay home.

Kritsy - I think we've got enough breakfast and desert items coming for lunch, so some kind of side would be great. From what I can remember right now there will be taco dip, salsa & chips, veggies, cole slaw, fruit salad - hmmm, don't have the list in front of me, and now I'm hungry...

This will be my first show so I'd like to know if there are people selling chin related items there such as supplements, dust, etc., aside from all the chins themselves, don't even get me started on that one. ;)) I may need blinders on while at the show.

I've only been to this show twice before and there are some vendors but not many. But Alli or others can bring you items if you let them know in enough time. There's also the wonderful raffles full of chinnie items of all sorts. Last year I won a case with some grooming items in it, including a grooming comb. I was excited.

Thanks Carol! That's good to know some vendors will be there for my addiction  LOL! And Allison is the first person I contacted so she is already bringing my order and I believe I may have convinced her to bring a few more extras, hehe. I'll definitely buy tickets for raffles but I suck at winning at any raffle. :(

lol! Yep she roped me into bringing some more things for her to think about ;)
I'm just bringing small things though.. and no extra fleece items since it's all made as ordered.

In the past I know JAGS has their chin things for sale as well as combs, and last year Cat had shelves for sale, so sometimes some people have other things.

I really want to win something in the raffle this year though!

Well, after a bunch of combing tonight, I have 8 probables and one possible, all standards. We'll see.

I haven't been contacted by anyone about renting a vendor spot this year and I know Jags won't be there, so if anyone is looking for specific supplies, I would contact the suppliers directly to see if they could bring something along for you.

Good job, Becky!! :D

Oh, you can win something in the raffle. You just have to buy a LOT of tickets.

And Alli I'm glad you're bringing extra. Of course I want to buy things but I don't know what!

I know I'm such a dork but I am really excited about the show. It's funny because I've been told that it may not be what I expect to be, but really, I think I'm just as excited about meeting some forum people and having a "girls" get-a-way weekend and the chinchillas are just icing on the cake!

Are any of you driving there tomorrow? I know Carol and Kristy are and I'm picking Laurie up around 3 pm and I believe it's 2 hours to Barneveld from her place.

Me and my sister will be coming down in the morning, hopefully be there by 9:30 to get dust and everything finished before the show.

Not sure if we'll stay the whole day or not though, as we'll have to get back to let the dogs out and things that afternoon.

Anyone bringing any dishes for lunch that a vegetarian can eat? My sister is vegetarian, so just wondering. I figured if there's not going to be much for her, she shouldn't buy a lunch there.
