Sue,

I've never been to Washington! The only way I would ever get there is in the summer, because of work. It would be an expensive trip, but fun!

LOL. Nope- not happening! Doesn't mean I can't visit, though!

Oh, now that's funny. Here we've started this rumor about Becky and already the offers are pouring in. Too funny!!

Won Standard EBC Raffle

Hi Everyone:

I just wanted to say what a great time we had at the show. My 4-year-old daughter, Taryn, was wanting a young standard female and we drove from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, to the show in hopes of getting her one of her own, as her big sister has a beautiful little white/ebony male that she purchased from Claire Farmer in Spokane. Unfortunately, most of the breeders had males or older females or different colors and she had her heart set on a female standard. She bought several raffle tickets with her piggy bank money and we prayed off and on all day for her to win. At lunch time we were thinking of leaving to head back home but changed our minds. Just before they drew the raffle we said another quick prayer and when they anounced Taryn's name we squeeled! We were so excited! God definitely answered our prayers! She promptly named her Penny. Taryn has enjoyed feeding her and providing her with dust baths. I'm sure there were probably lots of people there that would have loved to put her into their breeding program but I promise that she will have a wonderful pet home with a little girl to give her lots of attention and love and a great story to tell people of how she got Penny! Thank you Claire Russell for such a beautiful Chinchilla, we couldn't be happier. We'll post some pictures when we get some taken. Thanks!

Michelle

I have to admit as much as it would have been nice to introduce the standard ebc into breeding, watching the expression on your daughters face was priceless! She'll certainly be spoiled by your little girl, and you'll have to share your husbands handy work with the cage he built for your first one. :)
