OMG! We moved today...all 60+ chins packed into one car...I got pictures! Anyhow, they are in their new room now and no babies from any of my expecting females. We're now at three girls that I can feel SOLID kicks and tumbles in their bellies. Hopefully we'll have something to show for it soon! Especially since one of the females due is the beige that produced Pear Blossom. :hearts: Can't wait for babies! Maybe tomorrow morning! We don't have internet at the house until Friday though so I won't be able to update on here until about noon or whenever I get my lazy butt back to the apartment to clean.

*desperately hopes Wendy's chin hasn't had kits yet so that Artie still has a chance to win* :neener:

Ooohh, I like that. Maybe a little reverse psychology. Tell her nobody likes baby chins anymore. If that doesn't work try making her stand up on her hind legs so gravity will pop them out (FYI just kidding)

HA! Babies here!! Trips, but one did not make it. Gorgeous eb TOV boys: one very dark on the belly, one lighter but we shall see how he develops. Do I have to confess that it wasn't the Blimp that blew, it was her neighbor?? What is Efreet waiting for?? If she wasn't eating & drinking and holding weight, I'd worry. But she was 11 days late last fall, compared to her target date and her neighbors. I think she runs a longer heat cycle...

Is it bad if a chin "cooks" for too long?

Normally They do not over cook. It may seem like they are past due sometimes when they are not. For example I had a female they we felt kicks for 3 weeks I thought she was due any day, we sadly had a situation where she had been beaten so badly and was dying We had the kits surgically removed hoping to atleast save them as there was no way to save Momma. There were 3 kits all premature that also only lived a few days as they were not "done cooking" It is sooo hard to be sure when they are actually due. the gestation is 111-120 days that is a lot of development in a short time so a few days can make all the difference.
It is sometimes worse to know they are coming any day as you spend days and days worrying. I have one here that has gained 90 grams in the last 20 days she is going to make me crazier and crazier as she gets close.
