So I am new to the show scene..I have no intentions on showing any of my chins so if you are there just to browse around and observe..do you just show up? Is there an admission fee, etc.

I don't think there was an admission fee for the Ryerson show - but I'd have to double check that as I haven't been there in a few years. I do know that anyone is welcome to come and watch,though! Come, watch, ask questions and see lots of great chins!!

I think they did charge a small fee if you weren't showing last year.
Kids are fine, as long as they are quiet during the show.

There are 2 hotels in Willard, ones the Country Hearth Inn, forget what the other one is though. But both are not far from the ranch.

LOL! You mean you actually fell asleep!
Last year I was checking out before they even unlocked the front door to the office!

Mansfield I don't think is very far away either; within 30 min. I believe.

Yea we did, but that was a few years ago, since then we just bring the Rv and park it in the yard lol

Ok guys next weekend is the show! I cant wait. Just wanted to remind everyone that if you get in Friday you can always drive over to the ranch and hang out. Also Jan's having a pot luck lunch, so if you wanna bring something to help out with lunch that would be great! :thumbsup:

For lunch - do they need buns/rolls/plates/cups? Anything that doesn't have to be heated or cooled would be great for me to bring because of the travel time. So, just let me know what I can bring to help.

Darn it. I'm not going to be able to go. I just had a former student (and her baby) come to stay with me after being kicked out and I just can't leave. I'm so upset. I still haven't made it to a Ryerson Field Day, and I'm feeling particularly left out.

Shelly, I'm sure if you wanna bring something that needs heated or chilled that would be fine, since you can heat it up in the kitchen or refrigerate it. Im pretty sure Jan has the cups, plates buns etc.
