I heard on the radio today that there is a possibility he may sign with the Carolina Panthers. *sigh* I really hope not.

Awesome. :thumbsup: Personally, I'd like to set up some kind of "Tail-gate for Ethics" at every game played in Pittsburgh/Cleveland against the team that takes him. Invite some animal shelters and dog trainers that specialize in "Pit Bulls" and also think that letting violent criminals keep entertaining people is a joke.

Will you make your own signs, or should I have a few extras handy? "Dog-gone it, he's back", "NFL = No Felons Learn", etc.?

Seriously...I just LOL'd!! I will help make signs! I read somewhere that they were taking him to teach kids about animal treatment.....uhhh hello? What a TERRIBLE person he is and does not deserve a cent from the NFL or from a regular job! He should have to volunteer at an animal shelter and clean up dog feces for punishment!! I hate him!!!
 
I couldn't agree more that he doesn't deserve another cent from the NFL, I don't care how talented an athlete he is. But, he's not the only player that's been brought up on Federal charges and gone back onto the field. The abuse is disgusting and entirely unnecessary, but the publicity about this case has done a lot on that score, and there are changes made in dog fighting laws/fighting dog treatment daily.

I think it's about darn time we get the rapists, murders and drug addicts out of the locker rooms too. The double standard that some guy that's good at running into other big burly criminals should get to keep his job after spending time in jail when *I* wouldn't is just as disgusting as the way those dogs were murdered. Vick was charged with Illegal Gamling and Tax Evasion (or something like it), which ended baseball player Pete Rose's career... and Chicago and Carolina are thinking of picking Vick up? Where the h-e-double hockey sticks are their priorities?
 
Okay everyone I will need that alibi! As you know I am a Green Bay Packer fan and also go to a few games throughout the year. I hope to High Heaven one of our games is the Eagles! If not doesn't matter I'll take the drive to Green Bay. So one way or another Mr Vick you're going down! Andy Reed and the Eagles staff I expected SO much better from you!
 
Laurie - if they're coming to Chicago, and not G.B., we'll get together - I've got some real good ideas, and a working knowledge of Chicago!!
 
Rick I just found out of our 3 games we don't have one against the Eagles dang it! But I love to see us kick the Vikings butt and the Bears butt LOL!

Anyway, yes I game!! Let the plotting begin!
 
The Eagles won't be within a decent distance of me for a protest, but I'll help emailing etc. for people who *do* want to tail gate against this decision.

(Meanwhile, Cleveland Brown's lineman Donte Stallworth has been suspended for a year w/out pay for a fatal hit and run DUI in FL for which he was sentenced 1 month and served just over 3 weeks. The commissioner will suspend a drunkard, but not an animal abuser? Well, at least the standard is set somewhere...)
 
The Eagles ARE playing the Bears this football season. Come to Chicago, Laurie, but you'll be at the stadium without me as I don't really like football and I hate sitting outside in the cold. Hahahaha
 
UGH my state is a weird one, why oh why would we want Michael Vick on any PA team???? I am sad to admit that he is now on my home team...what a loser. Someone should Tanya Harding his butt!
 
From what I've read, he can't play in a regular season game until the end of Oct., and even then, it depends on the commissioner - hopefully he'll be seeing a lot of protesting against him, and KEEP HIM OUT!!
Granted - he's a very good player, but he sucks as a human being, and doesn't deserve to play! Maybe if he donated 90% of his pay to animal shelters across the country-----

Laurie - Haven't seen much about individual sports teams, politics or religion here - causes problems in a 'family'!?!?

I read in the paper that the only reason the Eagles took him because he was a decent player and they NEED all the decent players they can get. So many of the players are out with injuries... Sad but true and I feaked when I read it yesterday. He has a 1 year probation period to see how he does. My husband is an Eagles fan... ick I just don't LIKE THIS AT ALL! I tolerated that he is an Eagles fan but now its really bothering me. I myself am a Cowboys fan all the way.
 
Yeah, we will all need an airtight alibi!! Won't that be something if he actually gets on another team. That doesn't seem like it will go over well. What he did is disgusting and cruel.
