Hey guys, My friend is a tree surgeon, and was just wandering if there is a certain type of wood that a chinchilla would prefer? Also is there any to stay well away from?? Obviously know that you don't give any chemically treated wood to chinchillas!!! Thanks : )

Hey guys :) Hopefully purchasing a new cage today, only issue is on the bottom tray where id usually put newspaper and sawdust, will not be covered, so my chinchillas will actually be walking/jumping and sitting on it. Is this a problem? Wil it harm my chinchillas? Sorry if not explained well...

Hey, Just wandering how often chinchillas need their teeth cut? My two chinchillas do gnaw on a lot of wood, but just don't really want them to be in pain if their teeth get too long..... Do I wait for side effects or just book them in at the vets to be cut?

Hey :) Have had my two boy chinchillas for nearly 3 weeks now and always get along so well till tonight... Both out running around until the other one started biting the others ear?? And then sounded like he was crying : ( do chinchillas play fight? Or is this something to worry about??
