Hey

Have had my two boy chinchillas for nearly 3 weeks now and always get along so well till tonight... Both out running around until the other one started biting the others ear?? And then sounded like he was crying : ( do chinchillas play fight? Or is this something to worry about??

I would watch closely and check that there are no injuries. If there are you will probly have to seperate.

Being in an environment different from their cage can change the dynamics. I know my dominant boy with mount his brother when they are outside of the cage, but not inside of the cage. That being said, there has never been any ear biting, kack-ing, or anything that remotely resembles fighting/aggression. I would keep a very close eye on them
