We feed our quaker Zupreem pellets, does anyone know of where the cheapest place to get them online is?

If you feed a pellet you think is better I'd be open to that as well. This is what I've always feed. When we got him he was actually on Kaytee hand feeding formula so I figured it was a definite upgrade.

I don't know if their prices came down or not but i used to buy Roudybush pellets at one time, from the company. They used to promote free shipping on 200# or more, so we'd find other bird people and split a shipment. It helps to tell them your a breeder for the breeder discount if they still do that, just don't have to tell them your a chin breeder! LOL

LOL. I don't know of anyone else around who has parrots really... I don't mind paying for good food, I just want to find the best price. :D

Well darn! I'm not really aware of any good prices stores online, or anywhere else. A friend of mine has a business license and order it for me and marks it up to keep it "legit" I am getting 40# of the zupreem breeder pellet for around $52, but only order food every 2 months, and split this with another friend of mine who has parrots. If I come across any place, I'll be sure to let you know!

I'll try to see if I can find the info on where she orders from and PM the info to you. Might be worth looking into! They do sell smaller quantities, but the savings are more when you buy bulk. For example, I buy 40# of Macaw by Volkman's. I pay $68 for the bag, and split it with a friend of mine. If you go to our local bird store you will pay $56 for a 20# mix of the same brand of macaw!

I personally like Harrisons or Totally Organics for pellets with parrots. I know they are pricey though so that probably doesn't help.
