Okay I had a vision of judges falling off the stage when you mentioned that Wendy! LOL! it is going to be fun!

That's right! I cannot believe we left that out, Carol! Man...
That will have to be on the top of the agenda for the day now. ;)

Ahhh, yes! With this crowd we do need the dunk tank!! And all Elvis impersonations will go on stage during classifying. We'll need the entertainment during the 3 hour sorting job the classifiers will be doing...Dan, start the 10 class chant! Nope, its too late for that already, shoot! :)

Random question: will there be vendors there with dust and stuff in bulk? I wouldn't mind picking up a 50lb bag of dust, and maybe some Oxbow (;) Sandi) as long as I'm there and skip the shipping.
I'm already stashing away $$ for my new chin that I'm sure to find at the show :)

Usually no vendors at the show, but you can PM Brenda for some dust, or I'm sure someone might respond to the thread and let you know they can bring you dust.

Don't worry about Sandi being there! I'm dragging her with me I just can't do the show without my peeps! Sandi, Kristy, Carol and Tawana! Looks like you're going to be the new peep Diana! woot!!!!

DANG!!! This sounds like it's going to be a kick-@$$ show!!!

I'd love to come and see how the other half lives -- I'm only a member of ECBC, and a pet owner at that, but I'm seeing a lot of names I recognize and would LOVE to see and meet the new ones that are coming!!!

Wendy, I don’t have to do the 10 class chant. Once we start classifying that'll already be on everyone's mind. Lol

Yes, Lynn, you should come! We have so much fun! :D

Wendy and Dan - easy! I can't help the rules for this show. It's a bigger undertaking than you both know trying to get it changed! lol

And Diana - I could have a bag of Sparkle there for you, if no one else has responded yet.

Lynn, come on & join us!! Stand by Dan or me and ask "What are they doing up there & what is taking so long? Classifying? How come?!" heeheeheeheehee!

I know, Brenda: we can't just snap our fingers and be done classifying. But its fun to mock it in the meantime!! I'm holding on to several different phases of ebony just for the MCBA system! It has its good points, I'm just impatient by nature. :)

Lynn, let me tell you the first Wisconsin show I went to I attended absolutely alone. EVERYONE was so kind and welcoming. Brenda, I remember in particular, was very patient in answering my 1,000 questions. I can guarantee you, it's a great group of people. And now I attend with Sandi, Laurie, Tawana and Kristi and it's sooo much fun!!

Well, this is sounding like more and more fun!!!

What is the closest city to Barneveld into which I could fly??? Is there a shuttle service or could someone pick me up???

I have heard tell of this "Gnome Motel". What is it's name and what are the rates???

Please let me know...I might have to plan a weekend getaway!!!

Lynn, Barneveld is near Madison, WI--But our main airport is Milwaukee. If you decide you want to do this PLEASE let me know! I can pick you up from the airport and I'm sure Sandi would not mind having you ride up with us! You could also check into flying Ohare or Midway in Chicago and see what's cheaper. The gnome motel is pretty much dirt cheap! If you're serious about taking a little trip let me know and we'll get things figured out!

Madison is the closest airport, but tons of flights do come into Milwaukee. If you fly in from CO, some of us might have to reciprocate and fly out there for a show!! I LOVE Colorado!! :dance3:

THANKS, Laurie!!!

I just checked flights and airfares. Southwest flies to Milwaukee, but there are layovers and plane changes, making the flight over 6 hours -- NOT for me!!!

Frontier, on the other hand, flies into Madison, which looks closer to Barneveld, and appears to be on your way from Racine, or at least 43 minutes from Barneveld, if someone needed to backtrack and pick me up at the airport.

What time do the festivities start on Friday and what time should I plan on everything being over on Sunday??? I have found a flight that leaves Denver about 3 and arrives around 6 on Friday, and one that leaves at 6 on Sunday and gets me home by 8 for a pretty good fare.

Please let me know if this is OK with you. I'll ask for time off on Tuesday when my manager is back.

WOO HOO -- I'm starting to get REALLY excited!!!

I was just thinking that -- I wish that all of you Midwesterners WOULD come to our Colorado shows -- we need some support, now that Millers have gotten out of the business. We have a fall Field Day in October in Denver, a Spring Show in February in Ft. Collins, then the Western Branch has their Field Day in April in Crawford -- if you've never been, THIS is a fun show to attend. Luke Fausett always says, "This is the one show I NEVER miss"!!!

I KNOW I'll see you ALL at the National ECBC meeting in November in Ft. Collins, CO again, since we had so much fun last year!!! Start making plans NOW!!!
