We don't see red cream soda here much. I don't think I have ever had it.

I laugh at my friend from Iowa when she calls Sloppy Joes (Manwhiches) "Made-Rights!" Wat in the world is that supposed to be? But "tavern" is even more strange.

Moxie is my fave hands down. I'm not sure if its considered a rootbeer, but it sort of tastes like it and has a bite like rootbeer.

But other than that, MUGGS is my fave rootbeer aswell.

Here we call it what it is - root beer, coke, sprite, pepsi. We are so proper with our grammar here in the south, you know. :p

It's not POP it's soda just like it's not a water fountain it's bubbler!

I agree with you here. I remember being on vacation in Virginia and asking where the bubbler was and I got the strangest look. I had to reiterate that I was looking for the water fountain.

Also, A&W is good but I am a cream soda kind of person. Also, I don't know if anyone has tried birch beer. Very good!

Well in this side of NY it is soder(thats how they say it) IBC is the best root beer my Mom used to make her own root beer it was THE BEST.
My daughter loves root beer when she was 2 she was in the store screaming for her "BEER, I want my BEER" I got the worst looks from the other people in the store. I just kept walking.

I've had birch beer, and I love it. PA Dutch Birch Beer is my fave, but that's mainly because it's the only birch beer I've had.

Because of this conversation, I had to go out and get some but all I could find is generic polar brand. Birch beer is harder to find.

It is. I think the only reason we sell it around here is because it's drunk a lot by the Amish community here.

It's POP Laurie! :neener:
When I was at a party in CA and used the word "pop", they looked at me and said, you must be from the midwest. Oh, and I can't tolerate root beer EVEN with ice cream in it, yuck, it taste's like medicine to me!
