I was cleaning Herby's cage this afternoon, and since I can not leave her by herself and my son was not home to hold her, I had to find something to do with her. My option was to let her sit on my shoulder ( she does not jump off ) while I did what had to be done.

Well, Herby had other plans. I guess she decided she was sleepy and crawled inside my shirt and slept there until I was done. Cleaning usually takes me about 30 minutes or so, and she stayed there the entire time. And then I got the evil chinny eye when I removed her and put her back in the cage.

What are some places your chins have hidden or like to hide? :hmm:

Aw that is adorable!! My chin Toby likes to sit on my shoulder and bury himself in my hair lol. I don't think Tristan has picked up any weird habits yet lol.

I stopped letting my chins sit on my shoulder after I received a very bad haircut once!! They do like to sit on my arm and bury their face in the crook of my elbow. :)

Well..Trixie only THINKS she is hiding...I think she feels if she cannot see us, we cannot see her.

LOL that looks very uncomfortable! My chin girls like to stick their head in the crook of my elbow too, they think they are all hidden. :)

Ouch! that looks more painful then comfie! They sure can wedge themselves into the darndest of little hidey spots!

I agree. I took that picture about 3 years ago, right after we installed her Silver Surfer wheel. Her old one was smaller, and for some reason she liked to lay on top of it. I took this one when she was trying to figure out how to get on top of this new one. Now she will just wedge herself in the corner, right next to it. Near the top, of course.

my chin, Tinkerbell, tries to go up my pantleg, and was successful one day. I had to strip down to get her out. As I was sitting on the floor with her last night, she tried once again to get inside my pantleg. I stopped her, though, from going up too far!!!

Been there!

Both of our boys love to hide in our sweatshirts, and Kenai is a fan of hiding under one of his fleece houses (one that sits on the floor, so he's actually pretty much covered)

Crash "hides" on his flying saucer. Yep, right out in plain sight. I think I'm just glad that he feels that safe in what is otherwise a pretty chaotic house.

Does he give you that, You will never find me look? ;) I feel the same way you do about feeling safe enough in a chaotic household..There are days I know I would like to run away from home, so I can only imagine what Herby feels like some days!

Diesel's new favorite place is under his pillow. I gotta admit he looks pretty dumb sitting on his shelf with his pillow on his head.

My chinchilla used to love hiding in the hood of my sweatshirts as well as the little kangaroo pockets in the front of hoodies. She'd lay in there for hours while i did different things and wouldn't even budge.
