i've had this chinchilla her name is holly for like five years really healthy chinchilla we let her run around the house daily in her ball she loves to jump up in my lap when she is out but... her cage its big and i love for her to have a big cage but since she is healthy she poops like every step. I wanna ask you guys if you can send me a link of a cage that's good for a chinchilla thats easy to clean. (keep in mind i let her run around everyday she will not be locked up) but also good if im gone for a week or two for vacation thanks.

Most people on here will suggest either a critter nation or ferret nation cage. Both are large and chin safe. Ditch the ball. Its not safe or healthy. Chins can quickly over heat in them. It makes the run with their back severely arched which is not natural. And no one likes running in their own poop and urine.

A critter or ferret nation is great! They're HUGE and even though they have some plastic, most people just put fleece over them and they're fine. They're probably one of the best cages for cleaning. Even though it's huge, I would definitely recommend putting wood ledges throughout the cage to provide extra jumping places. I got one for my chin and he LOVES it. Many say it's the best cage for chins, I agree. Oh, and I would definitely stop using the ball if I were you. It's very unsafe. They could easily over heat or even break their backs. Running balls cause many back problems.
