Octuplets... only 8 of 14 children?!

Normally babies have a look of innocence about them, but so many of those just looked miserable. I know being hooked up to stuff isn't necessarily fun, but still there is something different in those eyes. The more I read about this woman they more I am disgusted...especially her bad plastic surgery to her lips.

I did see a video of her with her current kids, and I could tell she does love them with the glimmer in her eyes, but it's almost the too loving of a way. She seems like she would be the parent of the kids who could do no wrong.

I am starting to feel like invitro could be such a horrible thing. Like its playing God. I feel as though if you don't approve of abortion but approve of invitro its along the same lines as in who are you to say that baby should exist or shouldn't exist. (not trying to start one of those pro-life/pro-choice debates nor am I saying I am one or the other as it does get pretty heated) I just believe the creation of life or the extinguishing of it heavily related (granted this depends on your whole view of when is it considered a living being) I hate that I am becoming disgusted with invitro thanks to her. She abused something that other parents might not have been able to have their maybe 1 or 2 kids with. My mom and her twin sister had problems conceiving. My aunt was going to adopt but uncle changed his mind. My mom thought she was told she was infertile and was just kind of praying...then 3 of us wound up being born to an 'infertile person'.
Shutting up now before I write a paper on it even though I am out of school.

Ummm...why should I as an American taxpayer have to pay for delivering babies that should not have been had in the first place. I say, bill the doctor that created 'em.

Well, I'll about guarantee you that it'll be a government bailout in the end anyway. We know good and well that if she's receiving foodstamps, she's receiving medical assistance as well. That being said, she'll never see a bill for any of it. The hospital is forced to take what MA pays and be happy with it, leaving her to sit smiling everafter. :vomit:

I don't think that invetro should be banned or made into a totally horrible thing. I think there should be strict regulations on who can receive it. Psychological testing, finance and job history, credit check, etc... same thing somebody who'd want to adopt would have to go through. This is a perfect example of somebody who should have been denied that procedure.. no job, no income, already HAS kids.

Even if she was denied.. she never mentioned being reproductively "challenged" did she? She could have paid some dude to get her pregnant... and delivered them all one or two at a time like that other idiot family (18 kids??) on TLC.

Not sure if Im reading this correctly because I cant see and think tonight but her mother mentioned that she was unable to have children on her own and also mentioned that she was obsessed with having children since she was a teenager and that she is lucky that she was unable to have kids on her own or she wouldve done it back then.

I agree, that woman has serious problem, sadly, the kids are going to pay for this.

Honestly, I don't understand how it's possible a Dr implant 8 embryos. It's way too much. I my province, most Dr will stop at 3 wich is a way more resonable number.

They implant more because MOST of the time they dont all take..

But I toally agree with you Nancy we should all boycott the station!

Sad thing is.. people are morbid creatures and want to watch crazy things like this and its sad to say.. people will indeed watch
