New chin + new cage

Hello!
I have a male chinchilla for seven months. He was very sad in his little cage so I decided to make him a bigger cage ...Said and done! Now, since the cage is bigger ... I decided to buy another one..a boy too ... (not a girl as I did not want babies). So today I'm happy owner of two chinchillas ... 2 guys: D Pi & Mo. I am very happy. Today I brought home the 2nd boy who is a bit upset after a road of 6 hours by car. In my town I could not find a white chinchilla ..
I really hope to make them become friends and share the same cage. So far the white one lives in a cage slightly smaller.
I wanted to share with you my happiness!
If you have any tips on how I could make them be friends please write me.

standard warning from me; just make sure they are both males. Don't take former owners or pet stores words for it. They are often wrong, as it is much harder to tell them apart then on most animals.

Do you think I should not keep them in the same room until Mo gets used with his new home/cage? Pi makes a lot of noise ... and Mo seems scared and upset ... He does not move from one corner... only when I approach the cage he comes to me in hand and even eats from my hand ..

It might be a good option. Generally when a new chin comes home they should be quarantined from each other. In case he is carrying something that might be harmful to the other.

Its also a decent idea to let the new chin get used to his new surroundings and new ppl before placing him near a new chin.

In this case its hard for me to say. If they have already been in the same room for a week or so then it could change things. Quarantine is already broken. Im not very familiar with passing on of medical issues or time tables enough to say if its a good idea to separate them to different rooms still, or if its to late for that. At the very least i would make sure they are not able to contact each other or share anything.

The other thing to consider is the chins comfort. Since hes already been in the same room with the other chin for a while, you'll have to judge his comfort level. If he seems to be starting to adjust a little bit already then he might be ok to stay (stress wise). If he is still overly scared and what not, you might consider moving him to a different room.

He would have to get used to a new room again, but there would be less to stress him out. You could give him a few months there to get used to everything and everyone before putting them back in the same room again.

Theres quite a bit of variables to consider. You may want to search 'introductions' or 'intros' in these forums. There are a few different ways to try it. And they all should mentioned the quarantine as well.
