Ashley, I took him to Dr. Breitweiser at All Wild Things Exotic Hospital..next time he'll be going to Dr. Lennox. I wanted to take him there originally but they couldn't get me in til next week.
Oh ok. I've never actually even heard of All Wild Things, is it in Indy?.... for a moment there I was thinking gee I hope she doesn't mean Dr. Lennox, cause it's never been anything like that when I've taken my chins there!
Yep it's in Indy, on Keystone Ave. by 62nd St. She was very flighty and seemed scatter brained..I don't know if she just was having a hectic day or what but I would not recommend her. I had read that she was a good dental vet and I didn't want to wait to bring Smudge in, so I went ahead and made an appointment with her.
Ah ok, I know the general area. Right, I know the feeling. Sometimes I forget how long it can take to get in at an exotic vet... cause other than Cinder's emergency (which they squeezed in between other clients) I haven't had to take any animals to the vet for non-routine visits in the recent past.....
Here's hoping Smudgie makes a quick recovery! fingers and paws are crossed here for him!!
Thanks, it seems like his filing has already been helping him..Phil said that when he got home from work, Smudge had his head buried in his hay and I've seen him chewing on a few strands since I've been home..which is an improvement because he wasn't eating hay at all before the filing. I also left him a bowl of CC mush to eat and it was all gone when I got home.
