quick show update: currently on violets and over 160 animals entered. Lots of people...and i put in for the live animal auction.

I found out last year's show had close to 300 animals in it. But this year I believe more pet people or small breeders were there vs having some of the biggers ones like no Jags being there.

I would just like to give Mish a great big congrats on a well run show and also:congrats: on winning the 1st Place Bob Meyer's Breeder Award!!!

And also :congrats7:to Tiff (threewingedfury) for having the Reserve Grand show champ of the show and for the 4th place Bob Meyer's Breeder Award, and 3rd or second place Baby derby award. Barb of Mt Zion chins had 1st in the Baby derby with the triple colored mosaic girl that was just beautiful.

Mish also had the Reserve female sapphire, and I can't really for the life of me remember any other **** award other than Longeneckers getting the Grand show champ.

And I won a nice fleece tube and hammock set. Tried to win a cute ebony girl and Mish's white girl she put into the live animals raffle.

It was a good show and a good day. Congrats to all the breeders and raffle winners!

Michelle sorry you didnt win an animal :( I had put in for a black velvet boy once I even had him named--Guido but Cat won him :( Darn Cat and Bill always winning those raffles!

Glad you had fun, hopefully someone will post pics.

Congrats to all the winners!!

I had fun, it was nice seeing familiar faces and meeting new people! Keith was a bit bummed at not winning the white female in the raffle, and at Is didn't do as good as we'd thought she would at her last show, but I think overall he enjoyed himself. Without JAGS and Shoots there, it was definitely a smaller crowd on the tables, but well-deserving crowd. Dave was a tough one, this year, but it worked out for everyone's best interests. Hope to see everyone again next year, hopefully with some of my own animals! Sorry we couldn't stay to help clean up longer, we had to get going to pick up some baby stuff from my Dad and then get Mom's chin to her before we could get home.

I'm excited, Poetrue's Pets got the 3rd Place Breeders Award and my Remy got Reserve Section Champion ebony male. I couldn't make it to this one but maybe next year. =) Good job, Mish!

And also :congrats7:to Tiff (threewingedfury) for having the Reserve Grand show champ of the show and for the 4th place Bob Meyer's Breeder Award, and 3rd or second place Baby derby award

While I wish I had taken the Reserve Grand Show and it was REALLY close, I unfortunately didn't. I ended up taking Reserve Champion Male of Show. I appreciate it though :) I did take 4th place Bob Myers and 2nd place baby derby.

Congrats to Mish on her 1st place breeders award, Monica on her 2nd, Cheryl on her 3rd and Silkrhein on their 5th place and of course to Dennis Longenecker on his Grand Show and Ryerson and their Reserve Grand Show!

I LOVE the York show! This one was a blast. It's really neat to see familar faces and try to match names with forum names.

I was the lucky recipient of Mish's mosiac for the drawing. Thanks again, Mish for entering her and thank you for all the hard work you put into the show.

There were a lot of folks who made this happen. Forgive me for not metioning everyone by name. It always amazes me how well run these shows are and how everyone just pitches right in to help. What a great group of people to hang out with.

Congratulations to all my chapter members who made this show possible. Marvelous job! Always wish I could do more but sadly I am so far away.

Fantastic job on behalf of those who worked so very hard to put some of the most beautiful chins on the tables this year. The hard work and thought given to your breeding herds back home paid off! Sitting in the front row this year, I was able to get a birds eye view of your breeding work that wowed me.

I took many pictures but I have to work today. I'll post them later.

Congrats to everyone!

We didn't do as well as we hoped (Some did good, others not so good lol). But it confirmed my thoughts on what breeders need to be removed from breeding this season and replaced.

I did walk home with a stunning violet female from Jim and Bill though :D.

Awesome, AWESOME show everyone! I think it went so smooth.

Thank you to everyone who helped out! It takes a lot of people to run a show - from registration table to show table to animal handling to catering to helping set up and clean up before/after - that it's amazing it gets done at all, much less this smoothly. Thanks again also to everyone who donated trophies, raffle items, lunch dishes. Rock on!

We were shocked at how fast cleanup went this year - it was nice to have everyone working together! We did better than expected, and observing during the ebonies definitely gave me some direction for beginning our ebony program - Dave always has tons of advice to offer.

So great to see everyone again as well!

Does anyone know the points totals for the Bob Meyer's Breeders Awards?

Cheryl

Sorry, Cheryl! I didn't think that was right since I didn't remember Tiffany having an eb - I guess I wrote the cage number down wrong. Thanks for correcting me. =)

EDIT: I did, I wrote "24" instead of "124". Sorry!

Mish No worries! Everyone makes mistakes :)

LOL and before Tiff gets home and corrects me again - she did have a medium ebony that took Res. Phase. I just finished matching names to cage numbers and awards - I miss not knowing which animals are whose!

Switching topics, MAN those meatballs are good.

Who took home the fudge?
