I'm going to miss all of you. This is one of my favorite shows. I can't wait to hear how you all do.

I was going to bring a chinchilla cake since it would keep well (I'll be spending Friday night there), but I may just put it in the raffle instead if you're bringing your lava cake again. =Q

I will also do baked beans since I need to make sure there's something there I can eat.

yes - I will be doing meatballs again. Only unlike last year I will remember when I get to the show to turn ON the crock pot. The meatballs were done (I did that at home) but they were cold. They don't taste half as good cold as hot

Anyone have any requests that I could supply? It needs to travel well, since we have a six hour drive. And withstand temperature changes, since we gain about 20+ degrees from here to there.

Chips/dip, tortillas/salsa, crackers/cheese? Cheesy popcorn?

No worries, Ash. Someone will get the leftovers. =)

There will be a chapter meeting after the show and after everything is cleaned up for anyone interested in attending. Changes are afoot so we'd appreciate the input of our members.

Darn, we just switched our membership to the NY chapter.

I plan on joining Sat, but won't be able to stay. We've gotta get over to my dad's house to pick up the carseat for the baby, then get Mom's chin to her.

Mish I will try to stay for the meeting. Just not sure at this point. Might have to listen by phone as it is important to me. Thanks for the heads up.

Regarding the meeting, again, it is for anyone interested. I believe only chapter members get a vote, but one of the things we will be discussing is moving the show which will affect all attendees, so input would be welcome.

I doubt it will be a long meeting since we have to be out of the hall by 5, even though we never seem to be done by then...
