MCBA Atlantic Chapter 2011 Show, York PA

The show is coming up quickly! Just Nationals and then York not long after!

I'm actually getting really nervous, because we're leaving Sofie with her grandmother for the weekend so we can make the trip and I've haven't even left her for an overnight yet! Plus we're taking my car, instead of my husband's, and it doesn't have cruise control. That's going to make this 6-hour trip seem like forever! But this is absolutely my favorite show and I can't imagine missing it!

I am planning on showing 12 chins, which is nearly twice as many as I've shown at one show before. I am already annoyed at how much dusting is going on, not looking forward to grooming. =p But definitely looking forward to the show. =)

Only 5 for us, but I'm annoyed that the best looking of the group in January isn't looking as good now. Boo!

Now that Nationals is over, I am pumped for York! Jim is starting to put the showbooks together now, so I hope you got your ads in. (If not, you may be able to sneak it in if you act quick...)

I talked to Dave and Chris this weekend and for anyone who wants to help set up, they will be at the show hall around 5 Friday evening - the time is just an estimate though. It depends on how early Chris can cut out of work.

I never found a moment to put together an ad - babies sap your time and I just couldn't find enough to get some pictures and play on Photoshop. Too bad I hadn't gone back to work a week earlier, I could have at least done one with old pictures during some down time!

I'm excited for the show - hopefully not too many people ask about Sofie though! I am afraid of what my emotions may do! lol

We have an entirely standard string this year and we'll be shopping for some standard and ebony girls pretty heavily.

Dee, you had an ad in the National show book this year. I'm sure Jim has it, do you want me to tell him to reuse it?

If we had one in there then he can re-use it, although it must be an old one!

Yup then it is definitely an old one, since we've sold almost all of our whites and violets!

But at least our name is out there.
