Michael Vick has been reinstated, therefore I will need to break both of his knees and slice both of his achilles tendons, THEREFORE I will need an alibi! Anyone willing????

And I picked you all up in my 9-passenger Suburban and took you all downtown, lunch at Uno's Pizza, sightseeing along the lakefront, dinner at Harry Carries, and back to O'hare!

Anyone else want to start planning protests now for after some team takes him? We get whatever permits are necessary, pick a spot of side walk near your local NFL stadium, and show up with our (well behaved, please) dogs and signs. "Put Vick back on the chain", "Your Vick-tims deserve better" "Dog-gone it, another felon on the field" "[Insert team name] is the Pitts" "We'll Hound you 'till he's Benched" "His dogs are healing, M.V.'s still a heel"

I could conceivably get to Pittsburgh and Cleveland stadiums. Between everyone on this board that thinks it's ridiculous to let a convicted felon play national sports, though, we could probably mount a nice protest at every game he attends once he's picked up.

ths is why i dont watch sports. people have no respect for each other and all they do is fight on the field and send terrible messages to our young kids. and the big reason........... they are above the law.........

I think it's ridiculous. Many young kids look up to athletes. What kind of message is this sending? Unfortunately it only adds to the "thug lifestyle" and how that appearance is cool nowadays amongst many younger kids and older kids.

I know NOTHING.......................Kidding aside, taking him back to play leaves me more then dissapointed. Sends a very bad message to all of us who "play by the rules." If we did this and lost our jobs, did our time, and came out. Would they still hire us back? I think not. Right now there is a commercial that airs about this guy who goes around and wacks people with an oil dipstick. Selling some oil product. Everytime I see him do that I wince. I'm thinking a good ole dip stick beating might bring one to grin. Since I love football, I'm thinking he's going to be the target of more then one man who wants " a peice of him" for his deeds. Sucks to by you Michael. I bet the crowd boo's him when he hits the field.

Yes, I was thinking the crowd will boo when he comes out on the field. I am still hoping no team will sign him on.

The team that signs him is a stupid, stupid team. If they sign that man, the team might as well commit suicide - most fans won't stand by a team that has that kind of standards and values.

I think many fans don't care who is playing on the team as long as the team is good. There are many sports figures playing who are wife beaters, convicted drunk drivers, players with weapons charges, sexual violations, drug use, etc.

The first touchdown pass Vick throws, the fans will love him. At least some, anyway. Those who support him will say he is rehabilitated, he served his time and paid his fines. They will say he has apologized, said he realizes he was wrong but we all know he is being told what to say to save his football career. Vick has made some public service announcements stating his anti-dog fighting stance now that he is a changed man. He claims he is now committed to help combat this problem. We all know he is just saying what he needs to say to get back into playing football. He's not fooling me. To me, anyone who can kill dogs with his bare hands and cheer as two dogs kill and maim and mutilate each other is a very sick person who has no value of life and who probably can never be trusted around ANY living being. I believe someone like this can not be rehabilitated and just doesn't respect any living thing.

I certainly hope no team signs him. But I know some team will and there will be team mates and fans who will be glad to have him. :cry3:

I really hate to say this, but I think you have to high of expectations for your average football fans. :(

Ohyeah, and if you guys want to come down for a beach vacation for an alibi, that's fine by me. And it's only a 5 hour drive to Atlanta..... :D
