Still haven't decided what to name him >.<

But I took a video for you guys to see him. Sorry for the crappy quality. He LOVES to be scratched everywhere lol. As soon as you start he flops all over you wanting more. Cutest thing every <3 I tried to get a close up of his feet but he wasn't cooperating lol. Pictures too :))

Your new kitty is absolutely adorable! I love his little bandana! ;) Congrats!!! :D

aww, your kitteh is a cutie pie! They are so much fun when they are small! Have fun with him and good luck with a name. Maybe his personality will help you decide!

Name him Thumbs! Haha. That's what I tried to get my frienmd to names her polydactyl.
So cute! I want a kitty so bad but I don't have a reasonable way to keep one away from my chins, so it will have to wait :(

Thanks :)) Oh and I forgot to mention the cutest part .. he fell asleep in between my boyfriends pillow and my pillow last night, purring like crazy! It was adorable! Only lasted about 2 hours then he was up annoying us, but he's totally worth it haha!

And while I'm showing off my new kitty I might as well show off my other kitties haha! This is Bagel sitting in the sink for the first time since I've had him. I have no idea why he did it, but he does LOVE the bathroom. If we go in and don't let him in with us he will cry until we do haha. And then Cupcake being her cute usual self and enjoying some catnip :)) Enjoy!

I have my cats trained pretty well. I had rats before I had chinchillas and any time they would go near the cage we sprayed them with water from squirt bottle. They now associate going near the cage with getting wet. They still watch from afar, but never go near the cage. Perhaps if you were to get a cat you could try something like that? Works like a charm for me :))

Congrats! He's adorable! His front feet look just like my Stella's feet. :D I love polydactyl cats...and I'm a sucker for white females. I think Stella knew this because I was not supposed to have another cat. She came into the vet office all sick and abandoned and started kneeding my face and purring. Bad kitty!

I think the polydactyl cats have some extra brain power or something that lets them figure out exactly how to manipulate you into taking them and keeping them.

I would not be surprised at that fact at all. He certainly stole my heart the moment I saw him. I wanted a cat that would sit with me, but be cute and playful as well. So when I was playing with him at the store, whenever he was on my lap he just sat quietly and let me pet him but when I put him on the floor he raced over to my boyfriend's shoes and started attacking his shoelaces! Haha! It was the cutest thing ever!

OMGosh, he certainly has that look that says he is special! I have a new cat from the humane society and she is extremely intelligent and a blast to live with. Congratulations

A polydactyl that lives w/ Bagel and Cupcake-- how about Bear Claw, then call him Bear for short? Another one I like is "Hitch", as in "hitch a ride" *stick your thumb out*. :)

I only have one suggestion *against* a name, and that's Mittens. I lost count after 8 polydactyl rescue cats named Mittens. And if you haven't already, get child locks for the cabinets. He WILL use those thumbs to open things you never thought possible.

Congrats on the new baby!

I have owned a polydactyl cat for about 4 years and I agree they are smarter! Yes, make sure you lock up things, cuz mine can and will get into things the other cats won't;)
