wow!! that is wonderful news. hopefully he is in decent condition! what a odd turn of events. now keep your door closed! congrats to you & ang,

That is truely amazing he is back home!

So how far from your house was he found? Was he found the same day he went missing?

Praise Be! So glad Aang's story has a happy ending! How does he seem to be doing after his adventure?

yeah he is definitely not leaving my bedroom anymore! he was surprisingly found 5 blocks away on the other side of a highway. And from the time he went missing he was roaming around for 5 days and been held at the school for a week. this is really great because i really began to lose hope but keeping positive thoughts that he found a new love with a squirrel or something.

he seems to be in good shape i dont see anything wrong with him externally he most likely hasnt been getting his proper diet with even the teacher admitting it because they have been feeding him rabbit food. Although im noticing bigger problems well nothing time cant fix. but 3 days ago my boy friend decided i should move on and not to let all the food and toys go to waste so he bought me not only one but two chinchillas.. And after trying to let them great each other aang is alittle hostile but who wouldnt be if you came home and two strangers were in it. so after Aang finishes his bath and play time i need to get a second cage

if you havent already kept them apart, you really should do a quarantine. you have no idea where he has been and you dont want to jeapordize aangs health or the well being of your new chinnies.

Wow...that's great! It normally doesn't work that way, but I am thrilled that you have him back safe.

You should quarantine the two chins from Aang. They could make each other sick or really hurt each other since they are so stressed. Everyone has been through an ordeal...going to a new home is extremely hard on chins. And, well, Aang's ordeal, that speaks for itself. You need to take it slow and easy with getting them to all get along. Are they all male?

so after Aang finishes his bath and play time i need to get a second cage

Long story short our first 2 chins were fighting the day we brought them home, and in the time it took to go out and buy a 2nd cage they fought to the point that 1 chin died of his injuries. If you have a carrier or small temp cage please separate Aang while you go to the store. He's been through so much, and for both of your sakes I want to see him stay happy and safe :)

Yeah thats true better to be safe than sorry for everyone! I was also debating on getting a starter cage again because i dont know how long it would take for them to get along or just an extra large cage if it would only be a month and just think towards the future for them all to be roomies. plus of course all male i dont want a stalk visiting me with any surprises lol

Wow! The little guy has been through a lot. I agree with having him checked by a vet. Better safe than sorry. Quarantine is also a good idea along with an appropriate introduction once quarantine is over. I hope that Ang has not suffered any long term effects from his ordeal. I am really happy that you have him back since I thought that finding him would be almost impossible.

I'm glad to see another miracle chin. My Bobo was also found by a good samaritan and turned into the Humane Society. I'm glad you have him back.

I am glad you found him! I wouldn't take him in for a check honestly it would just be that little more stress. I would quarenteen him and watch really close but not go for any trips,
