First time giving antibiotics - help!

It could take a few days for his appetite to fully return. Are you offering him lots of hay? Sometimes it seems they prefer the hay first before jumping back into their pellets.

Yes, it will takes days, sometimes weeks, for his appetite to return to normal. Make sure you have pellets/hay in the cage, and continue to give him CC everyday till his appetite returns. Are you weighing him?

Ok, that's good to hear. I have fresh hay and pellets in the cage at all times. I guess it could just be a slow road. I'm very concerned because I have to go out of town in a week and I'll be gone for four days, and I absolutely cannot cancel. My boyfriend is going to be taking care of him during that time, but I hope more than anything that he will be eating on his own by then. As for weighing him, I haven't been doing that but I will pick up a scale tonight or tomorrow as keeping track of his weight is a good idea! Thank you all for your help, I appreciate it so much!
