I know they aren't the best, but I think they came out pretty well. I seriously wish I had a tripod on days like yesterday!!

Oh, and don't mind the stoplight in some of the pictures... they just HAD to shoot off the fireworks in that direction!! :eyeroll:

Yeah they had them last night and then tonight at a different place. I'm glad we went to the ones last night, it's been raining here all day!!

We're going to see the fireworks tonight. Can't wait! Our town did them last night but I had to work. We are going to a neighboring town tonight to see theirs. It's a bigger town, so they will probably be nicer anyway. My town tries, but they just don't have the budget to do a great show.

Remy is at a great age to really begin enjoying the "light" in the sky, although the noise can be pretty scary. Looks like you had fun and the rain stayed away for the show. I really like seeing the show my local city puts on, but hate dealing with all the cars afterward. You sit in a line up forever! We have our own fireworks this year and will put on our own show. Our neighbors also put on quite the display every year, so we just sit back and watch theirs as well! I always feel sorry for the animals this time of year, though. So much noise. I'm glad you had a great time and hopefully the rain stops for you tonight!

Wow they are soooo pretty! Celia is afraid of fireworks... and lighning... and pretty much any loud noises or any toy that moves. I don't know why, but she is. So we didn't get to go see the fireworks yesterday. There's always next year and hopefully she's over that fear.

Wasn't this the first year for Remy to really pay attention to the fireworks? I remember when my kids did and the looks on their faces were priceless.

I didn't get to get out and see fireworks either, so thanks for the pics!

Yeah, last year we *tried* to see them from the top of a building. He was only 3 months old then, so he didn't really give a hoot. He liked watching them, for about 5 minutes, then he was like "OK, let me out this stroller and let me be FREE to run around!!"

I was very disappointed in the fireworks we went to see last night. They were too far away. I've never been to that city's fireworks before so we went where their website told us to go, at the high school. The trees were in the way, they were blowing them off too low, and they were far away. I like the ones they blow off practically over your head. You can hear the booms and the percussion up close, it's great. We didn't even stay to see the end. We left early so we could beat the traffic out of there.

Oh well, there is always next year. I hope I don't have to work so I can see my city's fireworks. They are much better.

My town's fireworks were CRAP this year. I read earlier in the year that they couldn't afford fireworks this year and I guess they bought the cheapest ones they could. I got a few pictures, but the moon was bright and I was in a lighted area that messed up pictures.
