Tab, this is when i'm going to be in california! the 20th to the 25th! Is this close to Anaheim?

The dates have been announced nice and early so please mark your calendars! I expect a good turnout! :)

Kim, this show is actually about 5 hrs north of Anaheim. You may be able to carpool up with some of our SoCal members since it is a one-day show.

We're getting closer! I hope everyone has managed to get the dates off of work and school! ;)

If anyone wants to share hotel rooms, be sure to message and pm people!

Oh man! I just found out about this event. I'm super new to showing, but very interested. But I'm stuck down here in south Orange County. Anyone around my area planning on attending?
xxGloweh

Linda (Chunkychins) is planning on attending. She's around the Anaheim Hills area. You also have Nan (Snickers) from the La Mirada area who usually attends all the shows. Other than that there is Sandy who isn't on this board, but I do have her email. She's coming up from the Mission Viejo area...so not sure if you'd be on the way for her or not. There's another member, Linda (Linda) and she's in the So Cal area...not sure exactly where, but she may be attending as well. ;) Plenty of people to ask a carpool from!

For anyone that is new to a show, this is a GREAT one to come to! Donna is the sweetest judge and one of the best for introducing you to the world of chinchilla shows. She is VERY informative and will take the time to talk to you personally about your animals after the show and answers questions easily during the show. So if you've never been to a show before, this is a GREAT one to attend!!

Are there going to be vendor tables available to rent at this show? My daughter has made some nice fleece items she'd like to bring and sell if so (fleece tubes, hammocks, etc...).

Yes, we can have vendor tables available! Half a table would be $12.50, whole table is $24. Just let myself or Cara know and we'll make sure a table is ready for you.

Half a table would be great. I have attached a picture of the types of items my daughter will be bringing to the show. She will have many different fabric patterns available. If any one would like a particular fabric, please PM me and we will see if we can find it.

Shahna...is your daughter selling them just as sets or would she sell some pieces separately? I'd be interested in a few tubes and/or half tubes, but I don't need whole sets.

I will probably be purchasing a half table as well. I have hanging toys, travel water bottles (4 oz. glass bottles with rubber stoppers, glass sipper tubes and wire hangers) and possibly some other items.

I have some rescues and a few other chins who are looking for homes as well and I can bring them to the show. I have a pink white female with a beige spot on her neck, a pink white male and a standard gray male (same-sex pair), a standard gray male and a standard gray female. I also have a standard gray female kit (born 7/17/10) and her mother who is being retired from breeding (also a standard female). Please PM me if you may be interested in any of these chinnies.

She's will be selling them seperately as well. Her prices will be as follows:

Tubes $10
Hammocks $8
Ledges $8
Hidey Houses $20

Matching Sets will be:
4 for $40 for the set of 4
3 for $24 for a set of 3 (tube, ledge, hammock)

She's been making a lot of items so hopefully we have a good turn out :)
