So, I am concerned that my chins, who are of normal weight, tend to roll over sideways when they jump off a box or something during playtime and land on their bums. OR they will go in the bath house and get stuck sitting up position and roll over.

I think it makes them look fatter than they are.... do your chins have this problem?

No, not here either. I have seen them fall on their behinds when they misjudge a ledge and don't make it.

I only have one fat chin! Miss Bronwyn, sometimes she tries to go head over tail in her tube and she gets stuck like that. Then in true chin fashion she just falls asleep that way. As for everyone else, kind of on the tiny side! In fact most of my chins attempt to bath together with their cage mate so now way are they too fat to fit in the bath house together!

I don't have that problem either. My biggest is chin-chin and he's like 850 grams, big boy, so he's always laying on his side..:hilarious: but never saw him having trouble taking a bath or anything.

Smudge, my 1,000+ gram chin can't really roll in those SuperPet dust houses because he is so big, so he gets a litter pan to roll in.

My 1200 gram girl can barely get into the bath house and needs bigger holes in her wood houses too! She has gotten up to 1400 grams or more when pregnant so she is one big girl! People always think she is a rabbit when they see her, she is just massive. She is 1349 right now, and I am waiting for babies anyday now!

Holy cow!!! 1000 grams? 1200 grams?!? Those are some huge chinnies!!! Between the two of them, ChickaChickah and Charley eat 1 lb of food a week... I can't imagine what a chinnie that size would eat!!!
