A balanced diet?

Hi, its me again. I have noticed that my chin eats much more timothy hay than pellets. He does eat the pellets, and they are the same kind he had at the breeders, but he just doesn't eat THAT much. Is this usual for a new chin?

As long as he's not losing weight and he's pooping like normal, has normal energy levels, etc., he's doing fine. Some chins just realllllly like their hay and will dig into it much faster than they will their pellets.

Well, his poops are normal, but he's not quite as active as normal. I think thats because he didn't get much sleep yesterday.
