I'm awake! I have no pictures though, lol! Meanie took a bunch of great pictures though and she said she'd post them sometime soon. :D

I am not sure on ALL the placings as I was running around as a handler for this show. When I'm on the points table I can usually remember all the placings.

IF I HAVE ANY PLACINGS WRONG PLEASE CORRECT IT!!!

Class Champion white was a pink white from Shahna
Reserve Class Champion white was a mosaic from Chin Colores

No Class Champion for Sapphire

Class Champion violet was from Chiniverse
No Reserve Class Champion

Class Champion beige was from RDZC :)D)
Reserve Class Champion was from Sumiko

I don't remember the ebony class...I wasn't paying attention, lol...sorry guys!

Class Champion black velvet was from RDZC
No Reserve Class Champion

Mutation Grand Show Champion was my beige girl
Mutation Reserve Grand Show Champion was Shahna's pink white!

I'm not entirely sure on the standard classes either. We had two classes for the girls and two classes for the boys. My girls (a mother/daughter pair) took Class Champions in the female groups. Once of the male class champions was Shahna's and he took Grand Show Champion! A standard male from Sumiko took Reserve Grand Show Champion!! I also know a lot of Sumiko's standards did really well...my memory is just bad for yesterday, lol. I woke up at 4:30am and I am NOT a morning person! :neener:

And for the junior breeder awards...

1st place went to Sumiko! Congrats again!!
2nd place went to me, lol
3rd place went to Cara Beasley (Chinchillas QED)
4th place went to Chiniverse

Well...like I said...I don't have any pictures from the show.

I do, however, have pictures of the GSC beige and the class champion black velvet who are both from my breeding.

I brought 12 chins (beiges and standards). I had a few youngsters, a few 7-12 monthers and a few 1 1/2 year olds. These are the results for my chins:

Beiges
X13 and X14, 4 month old beige females took 2nd places for size but Gary thought they have great potential with good clarity and stand-up fur so far.
X3, beige male, took Reserve Class Champion - shade of beige desired by pelt market, good even grotzen, strong fur

Standards
V16, 1st - bright usable male, breaking open around head and out of show shape
V17, male, took Reserve Class Champion - out of prime but good conformation, good fur, less bright than brother (V16)
V18 - 2nd place male - color acceptable, strong fur, out of show shape (brother of V16 and V17)
X8 - Reserve Grand Show Standard male - excellent heavily veiled extra dark male, excellent tightness of fur, has desirable sheen, show type animal
X9 - 3rd place female - dirty belly, needs more size - sister to X8, this goes to show how different two siblings in one litter can be! Her brother got the good qualities and she just didn't.
V22 - Class Champion male - extra dark, heavily veiled, large pelt-type animal
X11- 1st place male - very strong fur, nice young male with promise, needs more veiling in neck - watch how he grows out
X10 - 1st place male (brother to X11), good fur, could be brighter
V21 - 1st place male - good fur strength/density, could use more size

And yaaaay, I won the 1st place jr. breeder award!

I was soooo exhausted though as I only got 2 hours of sleep before driving out at 3 am and I didn't get to bed last night until 11:00 pm since I had to get everyone back in their cages, set up some new cages, feed, water, clean carriers and put carriers away, and clean my mom's car... lol, it was one loooooooong day.

Congrats Tab on Pear Blossom! I love her. If you ever decide to get out of beiges, you know how to get ahold of me... lol

Shahna brought some really nice animals too!

Congrats everyone!

It was great to meet everyone yesterday. I'll sort through photos tonight.

Pear Blossom and Yuban were lovely, I got to pet them both. :dance3:

And here are the very few pictures I took. I know meanie took quite a bit so hopefully she can post those!

A really nice-looking violet from Chiniverse

And those are all the pictures I took. I didn't even take a pic of my RGSC standard boy! I will have to snap one of him later...

Congratulations everyone! Tabitha.. I am so proud of you! :) And you too Sumiko! It's awesome that you guys are so young, yet so dedicated to doing this AND doing well with animals you've bred yourself!

All these gorgeous beiges!!! <3 <3 <3

Who is Chiniverse? That violet is really nice!

Great job guys. Congrats to both Tab and Sumiko. I'm so bummed I could not make it.

Congratulations all! and I agree: that violet is very lovely! :)

She is gorgeous...and she was only five months old! Ruth and Gary Harmer have an absolutely gorgeous line of violets and even though it LOOKS like she may have some TOV influence...there is no TOV in the lines. They are just dark, gorgeous violets. Needless to say...I want one, lol. Gary was telling me they have some even nicer offspring growing up right now that are showing more promise than even this baby girl. ;)

If I remember correctly the Ebony Color Class Champion and Reserve were shown and bred by Chin Colores. And the reserve was a violet carrier to boot!
