Sounds like fun! Especially being surrounded with so many chins. I just hope whoever that person might be that I end up sitting next to isn't going to think I'm asking too many questions lol.

Don't worry! Everyone loves to answer questions...especially the old timers. They get this fanatic happy glint going in their eyes and it's exciting for them to teach people. Just find the points table and I'll direct you to someone who will be helpful during the show!

Meanie! You're going to join the trouble maker group...uh oh!:neener: We're going to need your help harassing Rod since he'll be our MC again.

The show is getting very close! Just a week from Saturday! Hopefully by Wed I'll have an update for everyone on who will be judging the show. ;)

This makes me very sad, if it was just ONE week later I could go *sigh*

Is the show still on? Do we have a judge?

Linda

Yes! Thank you for reminding me, lol. Completely forgot to update everyone. Gary Neubauer will be the judge for this show!

We will have breakfast and lunch at the show. Breakfast will be $2 per person and lunch will be sandwiches, chips, and a cold salad of some kind.;) It'll come out to about $4-$5 per person for the lunch. Having lunch at the show hall will be a big bonus and cheaper than eating at the fast food restaurants nearby as well as healthier! This way too we can take a minimal break for lunch so that we can end the show at a decent time.

I hope everyone is ready! The show is only a few days away now! I'm making the official rule poster boards in the next couple of days and we've got a great lunch and breakfast planned!

I've been busy making toys for the show and have yet to rough groom my chins. I have some really nice beiges to show this time, some a bit young but already looking very nice... and some young standards. I think I will also bring some older standard animals again since Gary is not showing. I will probably also bring along a few extra chins who are looking for homes.

See you guys there!

I think I may be driving up for this one. How late do they normally run?

Since this is a small field day it won't last very long. Probably the latest it will run is about 2pm to 4pm, but I wouldn't count on that too much. Without Gary or another bigger breeder showing there isn't going to be a large amount of chinchillas there.

Jazicat, it isn't that far of a drive! Where in NorCal are you located? Next time you might be able to hitch a ride. I can't wait for the show.

I am coming from Manteca and may have room if you want to come, Jazicat. I am going to leave at 3 am though so I can be there at 7:00 for grooming. Send me a PM if you're interested. I expect to get back home around 6-7 pm.

I'm in Santa Rosa so it's a little ways to even Manteca. Unfortunately I also have a huge family party to go to that day as well. I really want to get Edgar to be at least seen by his breeder so I know how he grew out.
