I got my chinchilla and he was a meak 400 grams. With nothing but high quality pellets, hay, and fresh water, he now is around 600 grams. I plan to switch his food from Mazuri to Oxbow so I am expecting and hoping for a weight gain.

I agree, try 2 feeding bowls. If things do not improve, separate. This means one is bullying the other. However, I noticed you said that you separate them during "feeding time". Chinchillas do best when free-fed throughout the day as they only eat when they are hungry- chinchillas will not over...

It sounds like she may be anxious or nervous, therefore using her spray mechanism where and whenever she can. How long have you had her for? If you got her recently, she may be nervous and will need some time to settle. Other than that, I can't really think of a way from stopping a chin from...
