    Big chocolaty fungus.

Poor girl! She is gorgeous, though.

    1 Bag, 5 Dinners

Your stomach definitely shrinks when you eat less. When I was 13 I got really sick and was at UMASS hospital for a month with an abscess in my liver. I lost a good 40lbs (which is a lot at 13) and I couldn't eat more than a handful of food without feeling full. Eventually I was able to eat...

    Best temperment by color

It has always been opposite for me... beiges have been my best, and blacks and TOV hybrids have always been the worst ;)

    1 Bag, 5 Dinners

I agree, a great concept - but it isn't enough to feed four - like it says. Unless you have a family of anorexic midgets. 1 cup of chicken and a box of mac and cheese is a two person meal. And as much as I hate to say this - if we have no sides, we can both eat a whole DiGornio - it is the kind...

    Hedgehog T-Shirt

So sad! There are a couple reasons I'd like this shirt... hahaha. Wish they shipped to the US :(

    Mice

We had a mouse issue where they were coming from our neighbor's apartment. Once they moved out, it wasn't a problem anymore (I think they were leaving food out). We caught 9 in a week before they moved. The peanut butter is the best thing to use, and just use a little dab of it.

    Stress-induced diarrhea?

I've got a boy who is one of those easily stressed chins. Even changes around the house affect him. It usually clears up after a day or so. I'd give him time. Usually no pellets for a day, a lot of hay, and a shreddie help here.

Light tan vs. dirty bellied beige

I would label him beige e/c. I wouldn't classify him as a tan, but he has a reason for having a darker belly.

    hay being wasted

This is always a question with chin owners, and no matter what kind of box you have, a chin is always going to pull out peices looking for the "perfect" one. Where ever you are paying $30 for a paper bag of hay is ripping you off, horribly. Find a feed store and pay $10 for a full bale of hay...

When the previous owners want their chinchilla back

I fostered out my two guinea pigs 3 or 4 years ago when I was sick with Lyme disease to the point of being unable to get out of bed. The woman who housed them took care of them for about two months before I was well enough to take care of them again. Pigs take a lot more work than chins, and...

    Chinchilla Jewellery

I've always liked this necklace available at Bunny Bunch Boutique.

    Losing Jobs?

I've was laid off in December, the company I worked for closed all stores early March. Luckily we are able to survive on one income, but we've cut our spending habits to the essentials and jut a couple frivolous things a month, like dinner and a movie out. We ended up eating a lot of our savings...

Here's pictures of my chinnie kids

I like the name Rupie. Reminds me of Rupees in Zelda :wink2:

    This is april???

It was 70 yesterday, the day before we had 50mph winds and a tornado watch, and tomorrow snow is in the forecast. Arrrg.

    Peter's Peek-A-Boo Rabbit Playhouse

I bought one for my rabbit from Bunny Bunch Boutique about 3 years ago - he loved it and it lasted him a while. It is something the chins would really have liked. The one I bought had "stairs" instead of ramps - which was a big plus for a larger rabbit. (New Zealand/Himi mix)

    The Half and Half Chinchilla

Christine, that hay reminds me of KM's bluegrass if it isn't! I miss the smell of it, gorgeous stuff. Wish it wasn't so crazy to ship it out here. Half & half chins are adorable.

    Is this grooming or fur-biting?

Like everybody says, it just sounds like mutual grooming. I've seen them "cack" occasionally during this. My thought was the groomer might have pulled a hair or used a little too much teeth. It is very sweet to watch, especially when they tilt their head, close their eyes, and really enjoy it!

I need a fence for my chins to run around in! HELP!

Cardboard is the cheap way to go! Call appliance stores and see if they have any stove/fridge boxes you can use. Use reinforced tape to hold pieces together.

    Jacie's 2 year pictures.

I'd have to say that would be my nightmare job!! :hair: She looks very happy - I am sure she was easy to work with. Definitely a cutie!

    Got chins for your crocs?

Oh wow. Every time I see crocs I cringe. Regardless, the chins are cute! Are they from LPS or did somebody make them?
