    Shipping bonded chinchillas separately or together?

    I've never shipped chins, but I believe that when travelling - each should be separated. Conflicts between chins can occur for any (or no) reason at all. Be safe - and ship them separately.

    Hi, and welcome to the forum. First off - you need to let your chin settle in and adjust to his surroundings. Sit by his cage and talk to him, and work up to letting him sniff your hands when you change his bedding and feed him. I'd also get rid of the plastic igloo - he may or may not begin...

    Super-Humongo New Chin House

    Wow! That looks like a big cage, what are the dimensions - and customized with his name!! Aren't dad's just great!?! I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not so sure however that chicken wire is strong enough to ledges. Maybe some modifications could help to reinforce the wiring?

    I know everyone hates Kaytee, but...

    Kaytee often dyes their hay. You can take a damp paper towel and wipe the green off of the hay.
