Fivel & Oblio

I thought I would post some photos of my boys. I adopted them from a rescue in November and they are 5 months old now. They're brothers and cuddle all the time, I'm really loving learning all about them.

This is Fivel, he has a snub nose and is adventurous:

This is Oblio, he has a straight nose and is timid and lovey:

Fivel is named after my favorite number 5 and the movie American Tail, about a mouse who has to go on an adventure to find his family.

Oblio is named after the boy in the movie The Point, who has to go on a quest because everyone says he's different but he realizes it's what's inside that matters.

Such pretty boys ! I love the name Fivel and the American Tail movie. It was the first time my nephew rode the el train in Chicago to go see his favorite movie at that time.

Well with my boys Oblio is always the one cuddling Fivel. Oblio is the shyer, sweeter one so he's the one wanting to groom and be next to his favorite brother.

Peekaboo. Morning ma

Fivel has been practicing acrobatic tricks. He will stand up real tall on the ledge and climb up the wire cage and then hold on sideways onto the wire crossbar, wedged between the cage and the top shelf. Sometimes he just hangs there before sliding back down to the ledge, but sometimes he'll try to twist his body around to hop over to get on the shelf.

It's even funnier if Oblio is up there and he will try to groom Fivel as he's wedged there.


Oblio loves his his comfy lounger I made him. Sometimes he shares. Sometimes he just wants to spread out.

what adorable lil boys! Gery would do the same thing when i put her back in the cage after playtime. guess she figured two hours wasn't enough, lol!
