    Pine Bridges

    Breeding white to mosaic?!

Assume she is pregnant. Seperate them. Wait and see if she has any kits. Breeding with the lethal factor is very dangerous. She can give birth to stillborn, or a lot of times her body just re absorbs the fetus. Either way not a desirable outcome.

Yes a single ferret nation cage will be more than enough room for stitch. I have an Etsy shop or can take PayPal for any of my products. Just click on the link in my signature and let me know what you were looking for. Welcome to the wonderful world of chinchillas :-)

    Wood bridge attachment

For my bridge I use eyelets mounted underneath a ledge. Since the bridge is strung with stainless steel wire you connect it that way. I have pictures posted on my Etsy shop, the link is in my signature.

    How did this come about?

Ok the chinchilla in the picture looks the be a hetero beige (beige + standard). Like others have said before me Wilson white is more of a description rather than a genetic combination. If one parent carries the beige gene, so a pink white for example (white + beige) then pairing it up with a...

    GrapeVines

There are several ways of drying the grapevine by baking. Some people use a higher heat for a shorter amount of time while others prefer a lower heat and a longer time. I will generally bake mine for several hours depending on how thick the pieces are at 250 degrees.

    Poplar?

Kiln dried is simply a way of reducing the moisture content without the use of chemicals. I would recommend kiln dried poplar

What Can & Cannot A Chinchilla Eat?

Unless you can copy their natural habitat, a no pellet diet is not possible. The reason pellet diets work is because it covers all their needs without having to supplement. Stick with hay either Timothy or other grass hays, a good pellet diet, and the occasional rosehip, whole wheat, or old...

    Vitakraft Dandelion Drops

The first ingredient is sugar and it has 21% fat! Of course your chin loves it, it's basically an ice cream sandwich the size of your head. Feed your chin a goji berry or some shredded wheat, at least those have positive nutriential value.

    Newborn Kits Fighting

They are fighting because mom is not producing enough milk. You need to start supplementing them and rotating them.

    Advice please!!!

Try looking for local hay. Just look for horse quality hay that is either timothy or some kind of grass blend. Horse farmers will sell you a bale very cheap. That way you get a better price and better hay.

All Living Things Multi-Level Small Animal Cage

Looks like a knock off version of a ferret nation to me. I'd be curious to see if anyone has tried this too.

    New Chinchilla Dust

@ticklechin I am loving your questions. Clearly you are very well educated like myself and know the difference between a quality product and something of lesser worth. All of the materials I use are FDA certified to be food grade so that means they are not calcined (treated with very high heat)...
