York Show 2010 Info

You're on all the ball, Barb! I was going to mention lunch ideas today, since we are now officially ONE WEEK away!

If I have time, I'll be making baklava. But I have literally a ton of stuff to do to get ready for the show, so we'll see.

You can stop and get something at a grocery store. I know one year someone stopped at KFC and brought chicken. I'm going to see about bringing some potato and macaroni salad if I can convince Keith to stop and pick it up on his way over.

If you're coming in the night before and it's something simple, maybe you could get the ingredients and make it at the hotel? Haha

I can't bring anything, due to the length of the trip - my husband will eat it (and I'm not saying I wouldn't!).

Perhaps I can pick something up on my way to the show on Saturday.

thank God the temperatures will be at least 20 degress cooler Sat. than have been - today is suppose to be 88 degrees here

It's been in the 90s here all week. I've been pretty worried about the drive up, so I'm also glad that the temperatures are going to drop.

Also - I'm not doing a supply table this year, so if anyone is interested in supplies, please let me know today. I fixed a bunch of ledges and cut out a bunch of tubes last night just in case.

Seriously?? If you put it in the back with the animal handlers I'll eat it throughout the show. I always eat throughout the show anyways. All that running around makes a girl hungry!

I am so thankful when I look at the forecast for here for the weekend - 40's and 50's?! I will take that, then I won't worry my little head off about the chins the whole time!

Does anyone have any dust for sale? I forgot to get in touch with the Ryersons ahead of time and don't want to bother them - I just realized that I'm quite low.

Does anyone know if Shoots accepts checks or do they prefer cash? Just want to get an idea of how much I need to empty my bank account.
