Wrapping presents with the assistance of the chinchilla in 10 easy Steps.
Step one: Lay out presents, scissors, tape, wrapping paper and ribbon
Step two: Scold Chinchilla for chewing on the presents.....
Step three: Precut tape into one inch pieces so you can hold wrapping paper in place with one hand and tape the seams with the other.
Step four: Realize that the Chinchilla has walked over the row of tape and is now frantically racing around trying to dislodge the sticky from it's fur.
Step five: Spend 20 min. trying to corner frightened Chinchilla to remove the tape
Step six: Repeatedly miss catching the wee little fuzzbutt but eventually get the tape off it's foot.
Step seven: Return to the presents, keeping a close eye on the furry little guy.
Step eight: Spend 15 min searching for the ribbon only to realize the Chinchilla really, REALLY likes the pretty colors and has made a nest under the armchair with the bows.
Step nine: Finish wrapping and place presents under the tree.
Step ten: Relax on computer only to be disturbed by the sound of crinkling paper. Chinchilla is under the tree removing the bows... Did I mention that he
Really REALLY likes the ribbons.
