Baking soda may help near his cage. But do not put it IN his cage.

no i won't put it in the cage, do you know anything about activated charcoal??

Are you talking about having it in the environment also? It also absorbs odor in the air. You can get activated charcoal in the fish section at most pet stores. It's often used in aquarium filters. Again, I would not put it in his cage.

thanks i was wondering where i could buy the activated charcoal..don't worry i won't put it in his cage i want to hide it by the cage hoping that it will absorb some of the odor so my husband doesn't want to get rid of him..

i have baking soda and the activated charcoal sitting next to his cage..i hope it helps..i can't believe how much he poops!!!!!

Try cleaning the wheel first thing in the morning. It'll cut down on the odor if you don't let it sit and permeate.

also i found out the reason why my hedgies were so smelly was because of the food I was feeding them. Yea I know what you mean about your husband getting mad my boyfriend was getting mad too about it. Also spot cleaning in the morning can help. Like someone already said cleaning the wheel. Does you hedgie go in a litter pan?
