Worm Size????

So when I got Ceasar I had gotten some i guess you could say medium sized mealworms from petsmart. As he was going through those I ordered some small mealworms from ghanns online. Ceasar will NOT give these smaller worms a second look and turns his nose up at them. Is it because they are smaller? Since they are smaller we are just leaving them out and feeding them so they will get bigger, but does anyone else have a hedgie that has a worm size preference?

Thats kinda funny! Luna's definitely not picky with her worms, she'll eat whatever you put in front of her!

There may be something wrong with the mealies that were shipped. I usually trust the hedgie instinct and would get some new ones. I generally stay away from larger meal worms as it is more likely they have been hormone feed though must pet stores will then call them something different (e.g. kingworms).
