LOL, and in addition he is from eb lines, so wouldn't he just go perfect with your TOV trend? ;)

Oh boy! My hubby would kill me if I brought another chin home. I still plan on going. :p

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Bobbie!
Besides I need females bv and eb, not any more males lol. Too much ring checks to do rofl.

Rockka, I went home with 4 extra chins in April. Don't feel bad. One of the plus side that I love about the shows is saving on shipping, check to see if some breeders/vendors would bring your order there.

I just brought home 2 chins a couple weeks ago. I was trying to be sneaky about it so I took them home and put them in the cages. I felt so guilty not telling hubby. So before we fell asleep that night I said Honey! And just blurted it...lol He wasn't mad. He just didn't understand why I waited until bed time to tell him. :p The chins I got where too beautiful to pass up. :) I fall in love with animals easily. I haven't introduced them to the forum yet because I've been thinking about changing their name. :p I just can't make my mind up. They both know the names they have now. I have never named a chin. I have always gotten them named already.
I've been thinking about adding a couple of my chins to the show. :p
I'm wondering tho. Do you guys put them in special cages at the shows? I only know what I have been told on this thread so I have tons of questions about it.

I think I will just go to the show this year and see what it's about and leave my chinnies home. :)

Rokka, I predict that you will get what I call "Pageant Mom Fever" like I did after I attended my first show!!!

Even though my boys were "only pets" I entered them in the next Colorado show just for the experience, and secretly I hoped that they MIGHT get a ribbon...they BOTH did!!! A second for The Snuggler (from a breeder) and a third for Mr. Whiskers (my original petstore chin baby)!!! I was THRILLED!!!

Trust me...you'll be hooked, and it's probably more fun to not have any worries at your first show. It's great to meet all the other chin people and watch the preparations that go into getting ready to show, so be sure to get there early if you want to watch people grooming...

Lynn
Thank you for the advice. I will plan on getting there early then. :) I've been trying to talk my kiddo into coming with me but she thinks it will be boring....lol kids!

My chins are *pets only* too. My black velvet is beautiful! Or maybe I'm just a proud mama..lol

She's right. Unless she's got a book or computer game to play, it WILL be boring. People sit quietly while the judges are judging because they want to hear the judges' comments on their chins.

Sometimes, if there are other kids, they can play out in the hallway or adjacent area, depending on where the show is. Sometimes, though, they are happy with alone time for themselves.

At my first time at the WI show, there was a couple there with the best little boy in the world. He played his computer game all day and never made a peep or complained about being bored. I was very impressed.

She might like to see all of the chinnies, but I don't know if that will be enough for her...maybe you do???

I think she would love seeing the chins but get bored fast and start annoying me..lol she can stay home. I will try to find someone else to go with me. :) I have someone in mind. :) She comes on here but I don't know her screen name. I got two of my chinnies from her but we didn't meet on here.

Rocca what city is the breeder from? Maybe we can help out on the screen name.
I love going to the show. Heck everyone will be able to pick me out easily. I'm the only Chinese there rofl.

Oh she wasn't a breeder. Her hours at work changed and she didn't have time for all her chins so she sold some of them. She took very good care of them. They are healthy little fuz balls. :) I have her email. I will email her and invite her to the show with me. :) Both the chins I got from her came from a breeder originally. I think she had seven chins. :p
