Hopefully I will be there around 8, we decided to just head out in the morning I am about to pack the truck and get to bed

We are here woot! Carol and I got Lynn around 6:45pm and so far we are having a ball! Lynn loves that it's cold here lol! No one is ever happy about the cold! ha!!!! See most everyone in the morning!!!

That's because we just finished the hottest September in HISTORY in Denver!!! It's been in the 90s WAAAAY too long!!!

It could snow 3 feet tomorrow and I would do the happy dance!!!

I just finished packing and decided on one last minute addition to who I am showing and deciding several I am not. The only one over 8 months lol. well we'll see should be fun either way! I have the quilt and the easel (for the claims) and my carriers just waiting for me to put the animals in in a few hours. See you all in the morning!

23 pages of chatter before the show and now that it's over... not a word. Results! How'd everyone do? Who won Kristy's quilt?!?

I wasn't there, but I heard a few things!

97 animals

Jags had Grand Show and Reserve Grand Show with a white and pink white. I think I remember the reserve male and female, but I don't want to post it wrong!

;) Cat and Bill made everyone mad by winning like ALL the raffles including the quilt LOL. They made an awsome rosette boquet that Sandi won. Lots and lots of beautiful animals. I have to get some fabric to make Lauri a quilt now since she didn't win.

Too tired to post pics tonight! I will get some posted tomorrow. Yes Jags took top honors with Grand Show and Reserve. His whites were amazing! As always I learned SO much from judge Gene Adcock, like how to really see the blue in a beige chin! Who knew?! Okay probably all you breeder's but us pet store folk surely didn't! I also met the wonderful Lemler's--Kyle and Nicole as well as John Lange for the first time. It's really nice to see so many good people dedicated to chins.

We had a super wonderful time with Lynn who came from Colorado and LOVED the fact the weather was cold lol!

I thought for sure Brenda or Wendy would post results but I did take lots of pics although it was on Brenda's camera. I got a few with my camera, the first pic is of the Grand Show champion belonging to to Jags -

Oh - and Sandi took a buttload of pics with my camera!! She is soo awesome!
I haven't had much time to look at them yet, but will post some when I am back at the shop on Wed. My home internet service is lousy and it would take me until then to load any if I start now... grumble grumble...

i had fun at the show and learned a lot.....especially about the importance of good quality water for the chins. That's something I never thought of.

Brenda's store is absolutely awesome. It's full of wonderful things that you wouldn't find anywhere else. The Mt. Horeb "Troll Fest" (not the real name) was happening this weekend and Lynn, Sandi, Laurie and I spent some time looking at all the wonderful craft items, jewelry, etc. people had for sale. It was a GREAT WEEKEND!!

Back home and so excited to say what a wonderful time I had!!!

I loved meeting and rooming with Carol, Laurie and Sandi!!! We had a BLAST!!! I loved Mt. Horeb and the Fall Festival -- I was going crazy taking pictures of the trolls all around town in the "Troll Capital of the World"!!!

The show was my first MCBA, so it was interesting to see how they do things. Classifying chins by color is an art...lots of interesting conversations while they do that.

That chinchilla rosette bouquet was the most favorite of not only Sandi, but Ruby and me -- we all 3 spent a fortune on tickets for the drawing!!! I'm always happy when someone who REALLY wants an item wins it, so even though I wasn't the winner, I was thrilled that Sandi won it because she loved it too!!!

I had such a great time -- beautiful Fall weather for the Festival, meeting new people and some absolutely gorgeous chins!!! I hope to make this an annual event!!!

THANKS, everybody!!!

Standards:
Champ Female - ?
Res Female - ?
Champ Male - JAGS
Res Male - JAGS

I do not remember who won in the standard females. It was a nice weekend even with getting practically no sleep. The visit by the Barneveld police department messed up the little bit of sleep I got this weekend.

If you & Jim weren't so darn rowdy, the Barneveld PD wouldn't have come calling! ;)

I'm glad someone is thrilled for Sandi: that bouquet was STUNNING and I wanted it! I will be thrilled for Sandi later, when I get over being depressed about not winning it! Fabulous job, Cat & Bill!!!

I learned a lot at the show (I am naming my next Beige kit "Cinnamon") and had a wonderful time. I'm glad everyone got home safely! It was awesome to see everyone again. After listening to Gene and picking Jim's brain, I have some "improvements" to make in the chin room. Brenda & I are going to sneak into Randy's barn when he is working and run off with some big blue-tipped medium standard females. Randy won't even miss them, muwhahahahahahaha! Might have to snatch that Pink White cow's sister, too....Jim & Randy have such stunning whites, it makes me want one!

I will be more than happy to trade you the beautiful one-of-a-kind bouquet for this: ;)

Nope, no violet champions.

OK, Sandi, point taken. Congrats on that gorgeous bouquet, I am officially thrilled for you! Twinkle is staying with ME! ;)

If I remember right there where only a couple of violets in the show. I guess I should have brought some but just plain ran out of time to look for a couple.
