Hey Everyone I posted a few days ago because Lily has soft poop and wouldn't take her acidophilus. She finally started taking it when I mixed it with pumpkin. I haven't seen any improvement and she's starting to loose weight. She was 415g on Monday and today she's 410g (she's such a tiny girl that she really doesn't have room to loose a lot of weight). For the last 4 days she's had as much timothy hay as she wants and 10billion count acidophilus mixed with less then a marble's worth of pumpkin once a day. I called the vet and they will be doing a fecal test at 8am tomorrow. These vets aren't very knowledgeable about chinchillas, but they are the only one's near me who will even work with them.
Are there any specific questions or things I should ask them to look for to make sure we get an accurate diagnosis? We're just taking it one day at a time, however with the holidays and the weekend I know a lot of people will be on vacation and I'm trying to be proactive about taking care of her.
