Weight?

She's doing good, loving her food and everything
I was just curious about the weight. I'll probably weigh her every couple weeks to a month, and keep a little "weight diary"

Her weight sounds fine. Just make sure she's eating regularly etc.

When I weigh my chins (once/month) I set a flower pot on the scale and tare it. Then I place the chin in the pot. The chins don't get freaked out because they can rest their paws on the side of the pot, and they're able to see what's going on. They tend to stay pretty still too, which helps a lot.
