Hi I'm visiting from the chins website.
I was just wondering what's a good range of weight of a healthy adult hedgehog?
I saw this picture & never knew that hedgehogs can get as big as chinchillas. Well, in this picture it looks like it's bigger than some adult chinchillas

The hedgehog in the picture is a wild European hedgehog. They are considerably bigger than the African hedgehogs we keep as pets. The average pet hedgehog is in the 400g weight range but can range from low 200's to over 1000g.

haha, yeah wild european hedgehogs can get pretty big!
