I just got back from a "wellness appointment" at the new UCDavis exotic vet center. The waiting room is quiet as it's away from the hustle and bustle of the main Small Animal clinic. We had the appointment with Dr. Petriz who was very thorough in the examination and explained everything she was doing and what she was looking for. She also explained the concerns regarding stasis, bloat, malo, etc., and said they do have special dentistry options available for a chin with teeth issues. They gave a great information bag with samples of the Oxbow pellets and Timothy hay.
The only reason I went in for the wellness exam was so my guy could be in their system as a patient, which then allows him to be seen by their emergency staff. Overall, it was a very good experience and I would highly recommend UCD for anyone in the greater Sacramento area.
