Milo if your mom is a nurse and you are a vet tech, why do you even bother with oral antibiotics at all? I've yet to have a chin go off it's feed with injectable Baytril (or oral either, as I stated above). You should both be more than capable of giving injectable to him.
If your vet is experienced with chins, he should have recommended injectable Baytril as it is much easier on a chin than using it orally and it wouldn't cause the stomach upset.
