Dylan got to come out of quarantine a week early in hopes another chin would loosen him up a bit.

I scrubbed the bathroom and cleaned it of all smells the best I could, set out some chew toys, some hay, some tubes and a dust bath and tried Charlie and Dylan out. I let Charlie run around and I had Dylan in the carrier. Charlie seemed interested and neither was acting aggressive so I let Dylan out. Charlie just would not quit humping him. There was no aggressing but I could tell Dylan was getting pretty stressed out. I put Charlie back in his cage and Dylan in his and I let Dylan rest for a few hours. Then I tried Bryson. I let Dylan out of the carrier and right away Bryson came up and started grooming his face. I was so thrilled and let them play for a good hour. There was a tiny bit of humping from Bryson but then he would groom Dylan's face again. Both boys were squeaking away and Dylan would follow Bryson around as if he knew that was his buddy now.

They are doing very well living together. Cage intros went off without a hitch and are going smoothly so far. They are always grooming each other and Dylan won't do anything without seeing Bryson do it first, but he is definitely coming out of his shell and is becoming quite the character. First day in the QC was horrible though. He didn't know how to jump at all and it was just heartbreaking to watch him miss a jump and land on his hammock with a broken ego, but he got the hang of it and he is a pro now.

He has finally put on a tiny bit of weight. Not much, but he is making some progress.

He is warming up to me but will only come up to me if Bryson is there. It's so funny. Bryson has his own little shadow now hehe.

Here are some pics. This weekend the boyfriend and I are setting up their QC mansion so they will have much more room.

Awwww, love these pics - he looks like he's doing so much better, he has "happy baby" written all over him!! He's so lucky to have "found you", I'm so glad things are going so well for him now! Gooooo, dylan!!!

Awww, so glad that Dylan is starting to fluff up and that he's got a buddy now. Great job! =)

One month Update:

So Dylan has been in my care for a little over a month now. He has been doing wonderfully. He and Bryson go together like peas and carrots, he's a pro at jumping now, and Bryson has even taught him how to wall surf. He is still shy around me, but curious. He's weighing in around 680g which is very good, and pooping like a normal chin. He sure has come a long way since I rescued him.

I took some updated pictures simply because he has quit chewing :dance3:

Last Update

This will probably be my last Dyaln update. He is as closed to normal now as normal can get. He weighed in today at 725grams which is wonderful. His hair is fully in except for in a few tiny spots and he is such a character.

I'm so glad I rescued him. I hate to think about where he would have been if I hadn't.

So, final update pics of Mr. Dylan!
